However, here’s some quick Pros vs. Cons: PROS: • Decent build for price • Camera slider and kickstand both lock into place and don’t require alot of effort • Every screen protector I’ve tried works fine with the case • I’ve dropped my phone 2 times this week and the case has faired very well • The case comes with a 1 year limited warranty, so they’ll replace it if it breaks (cool) • The case surprisingly comes with a tempered glass screen protector • The camera slide DOES NOT scratch the camera as far as i’m aware CONS: • The plastic parts feel quite cheap and shoddy (not bad for $20, but the Spigen Tough Armor is only $5 more and has less “features” but stronger durability overall. But the Spigen kickstand SUCKS) • More specifically, while both kickstand/cam slide feel made with brittle plastic, I’m almost certain the kickstand is more durable. But, if you truly despise it, I’m sure you can snap off the camera slide cover and it won’t affect the case’s functionality (plus, u can always say it broke accidentally and they’ll probably replace it under warranty, but this will use up your one free yearly replacement) • The free screen protector does NOT come with any of the standard tools/frames used to apply screen protectors. Oh well. • The kickstand/camera slide do lock in place but also slightly wobble around, especially if u lay 2 fingers on them and gently tap it OR shake your phone. • When sliding the camera cover to the opposite end to open the camera fully, it DOES lock into place on both sides so it won’t accidentally slide back over and cover your camera mid-photo. HOWEVER it does protrude off the side of the case, making it look like your new iPhone has a weird rectangular mole in the side of it’s ‘face’ but you can effectively use it as a finger rest - so I guess that’s an unexpected bonus? • I actually DIDN’T know the kickstand loudly clicks/locks into place because I genuinely thought I’d break if if I tried pushing it enough to hear the ‘click’ lock sound. However, you do get used to it. As I said in the title, it’s a good case for $20. If you’ve ever used the Poetic brand Spartan case, then this is incredibly similar - with a few caveats - most notably being that the build quality of this case feels much cheaper and less durable than the Poetic Spartan case. Just like the Poetic case, the kickstand locks into place on this case too, BUT this kickstand feels alot flimsier. But, the kickstand on the Poetic case broke on 2 different occasions, and the kickstand on this case still shows no issue. Also, for the same price point, the Poetic Spartan case came with a front frame (one with builtin screen protector and one with an open cover so you can use tempered glass) as well as the back piece. However, this case is ONLY a one piece design. You just slip the back of the phone into the case and you’re on your way. Anyway, It’s a good case for the price. And it has free 30 day returns through Amazon, so why not? However, if you want more secured peace of mind & have no use for a camera slider/don’t mind using a weaker kickstand, then just pay $5 more for the Spigen Tough Armor. Or, wait for the iPhone 15 Pro line of Poetic Spartan cases to drop (I’ve heard Neon Poetic cases are great too - $25 also. And Poetic has an incredible warranty program for 2 years I believe.
