Excellent cable at a bargain price, but read on if you are using it on a crowded pedal board
I purchased this cable based on my very positive experience with some other cables that I ordered from this brand ( Monoprice 104749 1.5-Feet Premier Series XLR Male to XLR Female 16AWG Cable .) Like the XLR cables, this one is slightly different in size that what is described. Overall length is 18.5 inches and the cable that is approximately 17 7/8 inches when measured from the housing of the connectors. For me that is not a real issue, but what may be an issue of you are planning to use these with pedals mounted on a pedal board, the length from the strain reliefs to the top of the connector housings is 2 inches. Also, the TRS end's tip to the top of the housing is 2.25 inches, with 5/8" of the housing protruding when the TRS end is fully inserted. Those numbers should help you to determine if this will work in your particular pedal board. The cable is noise free in my application, which is interconnecting a TC Helicon VoiceTone Correct XT Vocal Effects Processor to a TC Helicon VoiceTone H1 Vocal Effects Processor . I did notice that the housing ends are split, two piece design that are held together by the strain reliefs. Also, at the end of the strain relief, the bend radius of the 16AWG cable is very tight, which was a pleasant surprise. Bottom line: the only potential issue I see with this cable the it may not work well on a pedal board with tightly spaced pedals. In all other respects it has proven to be mechanically and electrically sound, and I intend to order more.

So far, so great!
I've only had this cable for a week, but it works great and seems to have a very thick and solid construction. It creates a very clear signal, no noise issues.

Fantastic patch cables for my pedalboard.
There are nice and short and small. If your pedals have side jacks, these let you get them much closer to the next pedal. The diameter of the heads on these is nice and small so if your jacks are close to each other, you are no longer forced to use straight connectors. While the flat pancake style connectors are great, they don't work on close jacks. They can cover the adjacent jack. These are the answer!

Great for audio.
I got this for using a remote switch with my Digitech Jamman pedal. Honestly, it's overkill for a remote switch... it's not passing audio... I would have been better off with a slimmer Rockboard TRS cable. This one's got thick shielding, beefy connectors, and would work fine for actual studio/audio uses where you'd need a TRS audio cable. If you're using it for switches on a compact pedalboard, you'll probably want something thinner and easier to route..

Quality
Very well made. Plugs are rugged, cable is supple, heavy walled, looks like PTFE insulated copper wires with braided copper shield. I would look at this manufacturer for my next cable purchase.

Very sturdy
These cables are very stout, much thicker than other TRS cables I've tried. I use them to connect two expression pedals to my Fractal FM9 amp modeling unit. The right angle plugs are perfect for running the cables underneath the pedalboard that the devices are mounted on.

Works for Digitech Trio+ guitar pedal
If you have a Trio+ guitar pedal and the extra 3-button footswitch, then you (probably) have the 6' cable that came with the unit. For my pedal board (and I suspect for most Trio+ owners) that's way too much cable to mess with. This short 18" TRS cable works perfectly and gives me all the distance from the pedal that I need. Getch'ya one.

I got the short cable to use for a quick patch but the length needed to be shorter. But the cable is so thick and hard that it doesn't bend nicely and makes things difficult to patch. I wish it was more softer and bendable.

There is not much to say. The cable feels good quality, it performs good when connected, the length is good, and there is no distortion in the sound. I totally recommend this cable.
