I highly dislike sleeping with cheap feeling material, you know the feel of a $30 bed in a bag? THIS IS NOT THAT. The fabric is a true white and is beautiful with the designs it has. Very well made quality fabric. the underside of it is really smooth and nice where the top has some texture to it. The weight of it is perfect, resembling my last comforter from dillards. Not to heavy but still heavy enough not to need another blanket. I am delighted with it, was worried about the quality when ordering. In some of the photos you can see the color difference, the sheets are an ivory/ off white and the comforter is a true white. I definitely recommend this product.Edit: it's been about 3 or 4 months now and we still absolutely love it. We are not sorry! It has a beautiful, but subtle, design. It's very well put together and does not snag (we had a problem with snagging with our previous comforter). It's medium-thick and heavier/sturdier feeling than our last comforter - I worried my husband would overheat under this, but he actually seems to have LESS of a problem with this one in comparison to our old one. It's not super soft on the outside (not coarse either - somewhere in-between), but the underside is a smooth, soft material.
