The texture is also very off putting;like rubber. Felt nauseous afterwards. Could only chew it for about 3 mins before the taste became too much and had to spit it out. If I tried to chew this mid race I think there would be a high chance of me being sick. If you don't like coffee this is one of the best ways to get caffine. I have a super boring church history class so I use one of these and it keeps me awake.
