I'm a young professional living by myself in a studio, and this was a great value for me. It's a little bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I actually really like that it's compact and it can still comfortably seat two people. It works well as both my eating and work space, and gives me extra room because I don't have much of a counter in my kitchen. I love that it came with chairs so I didn't have to worry about ordering ones that matched the look and height. I have all of my mugs, cups, and bowls on the shelves for easy access, which allows me to store more food in my cabinets. The table was easy to put together and only took me about an hour and a half by myself. The first chair took me about an hour on its own, because the pieces were hard to fit together - I had to loosen some bolts and wiggle some things in order to get it to work. For the second chair, I put it together a little out of order and it took half of the time as the first. You might have to play with those middle bars a bit - the one on the top that sits under the seat and H-shaped one on the bottom. It is minimally wobbly, that's just part of owning particle board furniture.

I moved into a small apartment almost 3 years ago. I bought this table when moving into the small apartment. At first, it was PERFECT. It fit perfectly where I wanted it to be, it gave me a dining table in my small apartment, some storage, comes with two chairs. A great deal for what you get. The table and chairs have held up strong for the almost 3 years that I have had this table. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I really don't use it. This table has become my "junk drawer". Living alone, I eat dinner on the coffee table by the couch. I never use this table. Even when I have someone over for dinner, we sit on the couch, we don't use the table. So the table is taking up space in my small apartment that I don't utilize. I'm going to replace this table with something else that will be more utilized in my small apartment. It's a fantastic table and I have zero complaints. But after a few years, I'm realizing that I should've gotten something else for my small apartment. I'm now looking at Baker's Racks with pull out or extendable tables, or just simple folding tables that I can fold up and slide away when not in use. It's just not the perfect piece of furniture for my place. It's a great piece of furniture, and it will be the perfect piece of furniture for someone.

Pros : It is exactly as advertised, looks wise. Good for an inexpensive priced island. Cons: Hard to follow instructions. Needs two people to assemble. A bit lighter weight than we expected. Slides a bit.

We got this to fit over my daughter’s mini fridge in her dorm to create a mini “kitchenette” area. We left off the brace that runs across the bottom, and it didn’t affect the stability of the table at all. We chose this table specifically because it has shelves down one side where she can store her dishes and paper towels, etc. I made sure to get a photo, since I only saw one other photo of someone using their table in a similar way. The shelves on top are the standard book shelves common in dorm rooms. We used them to create a hutch, and more storage. Hope this helps someone looking for something similar.

I gave it three stars because it is not sturdy at all. The screws are always coming out. it was very easy to assemble and it does not take up a lot of space but the screws need to be better because they stay coming out.
