I got this as a gift for my 5 year old niece who is interested in science and medicine. As someone in the medical field myself, I wanted something cute that she could play with but also that would encourage her to pursue science as well. I think this is perfect! I tested it out first- as a stethoscope, it actually functions pretty well. I could hear both the heart and lungs pretty clearly. It isn't as good as my actual stethoscope, of course, but it doesn't need to be. I think the clarity of the sound is just right for kids to be able to explore medicine. I wish there were more colors though! Pink would be wonderful. As other people are saying, I would not recommend this for a clinician due to the quality, but for kids, it is great. Some family practice and pediatrician offices have stethoscopes for kids to play with, and I think this would be an excellent choice.

My daughter loves to use this for her own creative play. The interchangeable animals make it so much more fun for her to play doctor. As a nurse, the quality is fair and I am able to hear lung and heart sounds no issues. If I worked peds I would buy it again!

The hospital had forgotten to give us a stethoscope to take home when our son left the nicu with an ngtube and you need one to listen to make sure the tube is in the stomach....i was kinda worried since it was so cheap but the reviews were great and i have to agree! We didnt need it longer than 2 weeks so i cant say how itll hold up for long periods of time but for the length of time we needed it, it was great and tou could hear very clearly and the animal attachments are so cute!

Ordered as a gift to my grand daughter. Nice color and my son told me he could use the stethoscope to check the children’s heart and lungs.

I purchased this for two of my granddaughters. They absolutely love them. Maybe, just maybe they will go into the medical field.

I bought it for my daughter to play with, so it works for that purpose. Unfortunately I can't hear a thing when I've listened to her heart. The ear pieces are quite hard and uncomfortable. But she's a big fan and loves it a lot. If you're looking for a toy stethoscope, it's fantastic. If you want your kid to actually hear the heartbeat of the person they're listening to (like I was hoping for) pick a different one.

I got this for my doctor obsessed little girl. I think this birthday I won mummy of the year! My little doctor in the making has been obsessed since and loves listening to all our heartbeats, she is fascinated! Brilliant value for money and the quality is high she absolutely loves that she can change the little animals despite they can be fiddly for little ones overall easy to use though.

Excellent quality, works really well with a good clear sound of my heart it was bought for my granddaughter prior to my heart surgery, they helped to explain things to her and also she "joined in" with the doctors at the hospital (all of them were great and allowed a three year old to be be included). One doctor tried them herself and declared them better than her own, these were kinder to her ears!! Everyone loved the interchangable animal heads as well, can honestly say they are hit!!
