Although there are slats across the whole frame, they’re kind of on the thinner side. I’m not sure they’d hold up with an adjustable bed. **Q: Can this bed be used with an adjustable base?** A: Yes it can work with an adjustable bed. Do not put in the slats or metal center bar.
