Smart XE 3-Axis Phone Gimbal Stabilizer for iPhone

I like this one because its easy to use. No complications. It works the way it should and portable enough to carry around. The app works seamlessly as well and this works just better than the inconvenience of using your hands- totally hands free! The battery life is impressive and the movement is smooth. The video turned out looking great. I only wish it had a remote. Overall, best bang for bucks!

I'm a YouTube creator and have used my phone to make content since I started my channel. Thanks to some horrible "updates" my phone's stabilization is basically useless at this point, so I wanted an alternative to buying a camera. I started using this product at a car event to get some video of the swap meet and car show area and it was amazing. The image didn't jump anymore, when I panned left to right it was smooth, and when walking the image stayed on target. Best investment I've made for my channel yet.

This is a great value friendly gimbal that delivers practical features for a budget price. It was really easy to balance and get started filming content. I love the responsiveness of the triggers and the ability to easily flip it from horizontal to portrait mode. It reduces my hand shakes so I get some super smooth pans with this You have to use their app to take advantage of the AI features and hand gestures but it makes solo filming for content creation so much easier. If you put this on a tripod and wirelsss mic you can have your own studio setup with face or body tracking. The tracking is super quick and even in a low light mode did not have issues following me. Such a great device and pocketable. It’s coming on all my trips now. Definitely a good value gimbal for the price.

In the video I show mounting the camera on the gimbal, it’s a little tricky getting it placed just right so it rotates correctly. (iPhone 15 Pro Max) in some positions the case or camera lense touches the gimbal arm. Just a little more room would have been nice. And the camera needs to be centered or landscape is unbalanced. The blue camera shows a different mount that presses the side buttons. This gimbal has space so when it grips the phone securely without pressing buttons on the phone. You must use the software they provide to use the gimbal. The software provides many features not accessible with Apples camera software. I like the button to switch between portrait and landscape. But switching from photo to video and back doesn’t have a button. You must use the control on the phone screen or the hand gesture. Some settings can be changed using hand gestures, this is nice when working in front of the camera. My biggest issue is the giant focus knob. I find myself bumping this often and getting my photos out of focus. There should be some way to disable this function. If there is I haven’t found it. Other than the focus knob, it’s easy to use and I’ve gotten used to the main functions quickly. I really like it, except for the focus knob.

This is a good product and the only issue we had with it is that when you go to put your iPhone in the clips, it is very difficult and somewhat of a struggle to get in and keep it there. It tends to pop out. As far as the operation of the Gimbal, it works great. Would we buy another or recommend this? Yes, however, with the understanding of the struggle. As a film maker I need something quick and on the spot. I should not have to fight with it. CHANGE: After extensive testing int he field, we have to change our review from a good one to very poor and in fact down from a 5 star to a 1. The clips on this product do not hold the iPhone 13 Pro Plus securely. The phone would keep falling off and in fact it damaged our iPhone while filming. In addition, when we secured it only held for moments and when attempted to adjust, the Gimbal would put the setting in a default state leaving it in operatable until we shut it off and reset it. Overall, the product is not recommended at all. We will be posting our Product Review video on You Tube shortly for the full review.

The hardware, itself, is nice and has a good quality feel to it, but is too small to accommodate a phone in it's case, so maybe better to use only with old phones. I bought this in order to get stabilized footage to motion track in Blender. Although the stabilization is decent and I feel it may be well suited to this purpose, if I decide to expand my use case, it will fall short due to the fact that the app will not even open on my phone. After installing and uninstalling it several times, I am constantly met with the AOCHUAN has stopped message. This failure renders all of the tracking features useless, as well as the "inception mode" and moving time lapse feature which is something I was really excited about. I was excited for this, unfortunately though, as of now, I am considering returning it.

Ich hatte mit der ersten Lieferung etwas Pech. Kratzer am Griff und das abgefallene Stellrad an der Seite sprachen für keine gute Qualität. Habe daraufhin den Hersteller kontaktiert der sehr schnell und sehr Kundenfreundlich reagiert hat. Das 2. Gerät ist tadellos verarbeitet und als Entschädigung habe ich noch die magnetisch aufsetzbare RGB -LED Lampe dazu bekommen die ansonsten extra kostet. So was nenne ich Kundenservice. Konnte den Gimbal in der Zwischenzeit testen und muss sagen das er für meine Zwecke voll ausreicht. Die heruntergeladene App verbindet sich problemlos und schnell mit dem Handy. Die Stabilisierung ist top und das zoomen funktioniert sehr gut und kann im Menü in der Geschwindigkeit eingestellt werden. Die Achsneigung reagiert schnell und zuverlässig. Also das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss finde ich hervorragend. Noch dazu wo es gerade15 % Rabatt gibt. Sicher man kann mehr Geld ausgeben und bekommt dann auch ein mehr an Möglichkeiten. Aber man muss halt wissen ob man es auch braucht. Ich für meinen Teil vermisse an diesem Gimbal nichts. Von mir daher definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung.

J’ai acheté ce stabilisateur pour mes vidéos de vacances et mes réseaux sociaux, car j’en avais marre des tremblements dès que je marchais. Franchement, pour le prix, le résultat est assez bluffant. Ce que j'ai beaucoup aimé : • La stabilisation : C’est le jour et la nuit. Même en marchant un peu vite, l'image reste stable. Le moteur est silencieux, on ne l'entend pas du tout sur les enregistrements, ce qui était ma grande crainte. • Le format compact : Il se replie facilement et ne prend pas trop de place dans le sac à dos. C'est idéal pour voyager léger. • La lumière intégrée : C’est un petit détail, mais la petite lampe d’appoint sur le support est super pratique pour les vidéos en intérieur ou en fin de soirée. • L’autonomie : La batterie tient largement la journée pour une utilisation intermittente. Je n'ai pas eu besoin de le recharger en plein milieu de mes sorties. Les points à améliorer / à savoir : • L'équilibrage au début : La première fois, il faut prendre le coup de main pour bien placer le téléphone avant d'allumer l'appareil. Si c'est mal équilibré, les moteurs forcent un peu. Regardez bien le tuto ! • L'application : L'appli dédiée propose des fonctions sympas (comme le suivi de visage qui marche plutôt bien), mais elle est parfois un peu capricieuse sur Android. Heureusement, le stabilisateur fonctionne aussi très bien avec l'application caméra d'origine de l'iPhone ou du Samsung. • Poids du téléphone : Si vous avez un très gros téléphone (type Pro Max ou Ultra) avec une grosse coque, vérifiez bien le poids car on arrive aux limites du bras. Sans coque, aucun souci. Verdict : Un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ceux qui veulent passer au niveau supérieur sans acheter un matériel pro à 300$. Il est simple, efficace et le design est plutôt moderne. Je recommande !
