O'Neill Men’s Basic Skins Short Sleeve Sun Shirt, UPF 50+ Sun and Rash Protection for Surfing and All Outdoor Activities

Very good quality, snug fit, was hoping it was a looser fit. But these hold up so well to dive gear and do a nice job of protecting my skin from chafing.. I think I have 50-60 dives with this shirt and it still looks new.

These O'Neill tops are the best but can be difficult to size. I think one of the reasons reviews here vary on sizing advice is that several different O'Neill styles have been grouped together. The solid black, white, royal blue, and graphite tees are style 3402-093 with 89% polyester and 11% elastane. As a guy with a 34" waist and 40" chest, the large royal blue was a good fit: comfortable on land, a little snug so as to hold shape in the water, but not so tight as to define every pore. The Burgundy solid and Heathered Comp Stripe are not style 3402 but rather 4326SD-Z05 and 4326SD-B-Q76 respectively with 93% polyester and 7% elastane. They are part of O'Neill's Graphic tee line, are a little less huggy, and have a woven, synthetic feeling, quick dry texture rather than the 3402's smooth spandex one. I wear a medium in this style's burgundy and I wouldn't call it snug.. I've not ordered any composite color tees so I am not sure about them.

I bought this for a trip of 2 weeks in Hawaii. It was great. I used almost every day and besides protecting me from the sun (even with sun protector I can see the sun marks of the sun as this one has no long sleeves). It dries pretty fast so I could use in one beach and in about 15 to 30min out of the water it would almost dry (while I am wearing it) so I could drive to another place without needing to change clothes. At night a clear water wash and dry outside for using the next day. I would say it is very nice, you save with sun protector in the areas the shirt protects you. I usually wear a Small size. Order it in Small and it fits perfectly (like a normal T-Shirt). I would recommend it.

Runs a size small. To be fair, this shirt is intended to fit tight. But I found that at a size bigger it’s still form fitting, but much more comfortable. Otherwise, awesome. High quality great shirt.

I bought two of these rash guards to take on a trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I bought one in XL and the other in XXL. The XL fit perfectly, but not like a baggy XL t-shirt would. It fits me more like a Large t-shirt would. But that's they way it's supposed to be. I'm a little out of shape these days so I wanted to get the next size up so I'd have two for two different activities. The XL I used for snorkeling and scuba diving because I didn't want the shirt to be to loose while doing those activities. The XXL, which fit more like an XL t-shirt, I used for hanging around the pool and going to the beach in. I used both shirts every day that I was in Mexico and they were awesome. They fit well, dried fast, and kept me from getting burned. My skin was just as white returning home as when I left for Mexico, so they did their job. =) Of course, that wasn't the only reason I bought them. I'm not in the shape I used to be, so I spared the people at the resort from seeing my big white belly. =P These shirts are fantastic...I highly recommend. ** FYI: I'm 5'11" and 215 lbs.

This shirt is exactly as advertised. I've used O'Neill products over many years and overall quality is almost always top-notch. The shirt will conform to your body, especially when it is wet. The Elastane/Nylon material used in the shirt is heavier than the Poly/Spandex O'Neill uses in their "Hybrid" shirts. Both types of shirts are described as "Slim Fit", but the Hybrid shirts are definitely looser. This shirt is heavy duty and does an excellent job of blocking UV rays when you're in the water for hours at a time. In addition to UV protection, it is tight enough to hold a little body in cooler water. *Note that this must be hand-washed. I use a bar of soap and rinse it out in the sink. I noticed some people complain about ripples developing in the shirt, which might happen if it is machine washed. I would also avoid buying a white shirt since algae from river/ocean could stain it (and it can't be washed in a machine).

These shirts were great for our vacation. We both burn easily and that could absolutely ruin a trip (and it has). These were very well priced and I was reluctant with not going with the more premium brands at first but These proved to be just what I needed. I wore them every day in Barbados in the ocean and the pools and I never got close to getting burnt. In fact, you wouldn't even know I went to a tropical island when I got back. Definitely enhances your farmers tan if you've already got one. They were comfortable, felt less clingy when wet than others I've used in the past and they dried pretty quickly. If I think I need more than the two I bought I will buy more of these

quality , except for the collar. I like the long short sleeves overall feels quality BUT the collar is thin and "falls down", doesn't hold its shape . at this price the collar should be wider and beefier

Fit well. Not to tight like a compression but a bit tighter then a regular shirt. Dried quick. Looks good.
