Natural Soy 444 Wax (20)

20 lbs of soy wax flakes. Wow. 20 lbs feels like nothing when you click order, but damn is it something when it arrives and you live in a small apartment with minimal storage. Great choice on the new hobby. Making candles is simple and this stuff is great. Just remember when you buy 20lbs...you'll have to store 20lbs of soy wax flakes.

I love this brand of wax and seller. The wax is flaked and ready to go and easy to unbox. I usually get the 20 lb boxes but I may have to reconsider now that the seller is not offering amazon fulfillment with this size. However awesome for candles and its always been a pleasure to work with this seller.

I use this to seal wood log ends to slow down the checking process until I turn them on a wood lathe. Works great and is easy to melt in a double boiler. It goes a long way and and works well for my purpose.

This was used for my second candle making attempt after having first tried the 464 from the same vendor. I like the 464 better, which I have since learned is 98% soy 2% additives. I added scent cubes and they didn't blend well at all. I had to re-pour all of the pint sized ones and fix the tops on every one of them. FYI I added 3 of those small scent cubes to each 16 oz candle and while the scent was nice, they wouldn't burn right. Soy based waxes will need larger wicks than what is recommended. I used pint mason jars with extra large wicks and large wicks for the half pint jars and fortunately that fixed the tunneling problems from the first attempt. 10 pounds made 6 pint sized candles so you can see what a bargain it is to just make your own. I also took another reviewers suggestion and shopped the auction site for essential oils. There are some real bargains there.

If you are looking for a great wax, loom no further. This is the wax you need. I use it to make Wax melts, lip balms, and candles.

works well for my purposes. I only wish it was already broken up into a finer flake. I was bale to break up the bigger flakes easily through the plastic bag holding the wax.
