How deep are the compartments?

The box is 1.5 inches deep. That has two sets of pill compartments on each half of the box (top and bottom). Each pill compartment is about 0.5 inches deep. They easily hold small pills. Larger pills like vitamins fit in the containers but the compartments won't hold a lot of large pills.
