Is this brush ideal for cleaning metal lined flasks?

Yes it is, I use it frequently to cleans the SHO flask. I made a big mistake by pulling off the wadding at the very end thinking that it was packing -it isn’t, it’s to stop the flask being scratched at the bottom, so now I have to be careful. I also use it to clean bottles for recycling.

is this non-scratch? thanks

Its a twisted metal core so there is a sharp part at the longest point even though there foam attached. You could twist it back on itself with heavy duty pliers to minimise scratch risk. The foam attachment at the bottom breaks off piece by piece in a very short time. I only use it to clean glass milk bottles
