I’ve been using the SmallRig Lightweight NATO Top Handle (4345) with my Panasonic S5 II and SmallRig cage, and it has been a great addition to my setup. It makes handheld shooting much easier, especially for low-angle shots and when moving around during church productions. The quick-release NATO system is one of my favorite features — I can slide it on and off quickly without tools, which makes switching setups fast and convenient. The handle is very lightweight but still strong, easily supporting my fully rigged camera without any flex or issues. The grip is comfortable and secure, thanks to the silicone design, so I can hold the camera for long periods without fatigue. I also like the multiple mounting options — the built-in cold shoes and threaded holes make it easy to attach a microphone, monitor, or light directly to the handle. Build quality is solid, and it feels like it’s built to last. Even with regular use, everything stays tight and secure, and the handle still looks and performs like new. Overall, this is a simple, reliable, and very practical upgrade for any cage setup. If you’re running a Panasonic S5 II or similar rig, this top handle is a great addition for better control and flexibility.
