Can you use it on the black part of your dog too? Have a Bernese and I’m trying to keep his white marks white, but don’t want to lighten the black.

I'm sure you can. My dog is a white palmerainian. He get dark high lights in the winter and this works to bring the white out more he gets the amber high lights in the winter. Doing and summer weather pure white. Used it 3 weeks ago still soft and clean . So I don't see why you could not use it. I just ordered more at the price it is at now before it goes back to normal price

How many minutes should i leave for shampoo to be effective? Directions says several minutes. Exactly how many minutes is that?

Generally I soap up and work the soap for 10-15 minutes. But we have a 60 pound standard poodle, so timing would depend on the size of your dog.

It says to avoid eyes... but so does the tear free shampoo I just bought... my guess... try it...if your dog appears to have a problem, don't use it on the dog's face.

Fabulous shampoo

I’m very fussy about anything I use on my dogs. I wanted a gentle but effective shampoo for the white Maltipoo dogs. This really was incredible. They came up whiter than white! Soft and fur was manageable - all good thanks! Will def purchase again.

Used this on my dog last night and not only did he smell good after his bath it also whitened his coat! Just what I was looking for, I Would be definitely be repurchasing once I run out. Also I would love to add that I did not find the hard bottle a problem as most reviewed and also lathered properly. All I did was pour a bit in a spray bottle and diluted with water.
