If you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative to a Battery Tender or NOCO, this NEXPEAK unit holds its own. The 7-stage charging profile is legitimate—it handles desulfurization and compensation charging quite smoothly. Leave it connected for over 4 days so far (trickle mode) without any sulfation buildup. The mode memory after outage is genius—power flickers during outage, picks right back up. Pulse repair extended life on a 5-year-old deep-cycle that was weakening. Clear LCD shows real-time stats so I know it's working. Protections prevented any over-temp, reverse, etc.. Extra-long SAE cord with clips/rings makes setup easy. I tested the voltage accuracy with a multimeter, and it’s spot on. It holds the float at exactly 12.5V in trickle mode, which is perfect for preventing gassing in lead-acid batteries. Just a heads-up: it will NOT charge Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, so don't try it. For standard flooded or AGM batteries, it’s a no-brainer for the price. There is also a [3-Pack] product available but I only needed one. Best budget smart charger I've used—way better than basic trickle units.

This is Great little charger, if you have ATVs or if you have a motorcycle, the holes could be a little bit bigger, for the set up so that way you always have the charger pigtail hooked up, I would recommend buying a couple extra pigtails that way you could use this charger on a couple different bikes, motorcycles, or car, for the price you can’t beat it. It’s a slow charger, but it does work good it’s 1.75 so be expecting a nice good full cycle of charge out of your battery, just for the hell of it. I had an old battery and I brought it back to life with this, I noticed it does get a little warm when you bring back old battery so I would recommend putting a fan on it. Other than that, it has a really nice LED screen that even glows in dark, it’s very legible, and it tells you how much juice the battery is and when it’s full, it just says full and then it goes into trickle mode very easy to use, I agree a few have stuff to charge while RVing, or if you’re taking quads out to the desert, or just keep the batteries off your ATVs or jet skis, but it’s kind of nice to have that little pigtail that you could plug into

Works as described. Very handy trickle charger to use for cars that are infrequently driven. WIll keep the battery charged up and not drained by the quiescent load from the ON BOARD computer.

The tender works good on a working battery. Background, my battery was at it's end life when I bought this unit. My previous tender stopped working two or three weeks prior to purchasing which caused my battery to unexpectedly not hold a charge or hold up for a jump. Initially after buying it seemed the unit was not registering my battery as advertised. After reaching out to the seller and explained the situation, I was getting ready to return the unit since it seemed faulty out of the box. After jump starting the car failed with a known good jump box, I had the battery tested and it was determined the battery was past it's expiration. Since replacing the battery, the unit register's the battery as expected and has been trickle charging without an issue since. It connects and plugs in quickly. Switching between modes is as easy as the press of the button and hadn't had an issue since the battery was replaced. I have been using this for several months and it seems to be holding up well to the elements. I still have yet to try it in cold weather but seems to be holding up well so gar with the weather.

WOW! Premium Function at a bargain price. I have a garage full of toys that have batteries, motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, etc... For years I have used only Battery Tender® products and they work well, however a few had died after years of service.
