Why did you choose this product over others?: It was well priced and does the job. Allowing me to connect a number of hifi appliances to one amp input/output.

Does what it says (so it takes one input and let's you choose between one of two outputs. (You cannot use both outputs simultaneously). I use it to switch between headphones and desktop speakers.

Initially noisy when all connections made. Power cycled all connected equipment, and issue went away.

The product doesn't do what the advert says as I connected my DVD player & VHS player to AUDIO INPUT ports then my speakers TO AUDIO OUT settings [2 In 1 Out] and only the DVD player has sound. you have to press the button to switch devices. That's all it does

It does what it says it does. It's quite small and lightweight so you might want to fix it down with an adhesive pad or bluetac. Visually, it might be more attractive if all the terminals were on the back, but the layout makes it clearer. I use it as a switcher between speakers and headphones. If you have either an old pre-amp or speakers with bare wires, you need to adjust connections. For stereo, take the negative from EACH speaker or audio-out and join them together. The stereo is carried in the two positive wires: these form the left-and-right audio channels. Altogether that gives you three wires instead of two. Unless you are adept at wiring the plugs, you might want to get a jack-adaptor like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B094711RNN. It's clearly marked for your left right and neutral and provides an outlet to a 3.5 socket. You can plug your cable (supplied with switcher) and it will all work fine.

I have copied this review from SAL a previous reviewer and am similarly annoyed… ‘Not at all what it claims to be Reviewed in the United States on 14 July 2024 Description claims it is 1 to 2 or 2 to 1 directional switch box. in fact is is a simple A/B switch. It is not a 1 Input to 2 Output splitter. It clearly indicates false information in the description and on the device itself. The actual function is RCA 1 to RCA 2 or RCA 1 to RCA 3, depending on the in/out position of the pushbutton. Very disappointing.’ Not what I thought it would be from the description and a waste of my time and money!

Works exactly as described. My only concern is a aesthetic one, I'm no technician but it's a shame that it was not possible to arrange the sockets to leave the front just for the switch, as I use this switch behind the TV it's no problem, but if it's in view I'd seek a different model.

The push button does not indicate which position is for which input, but that’s not a big issue. I am using it for two inputs and one output. The inputs are from a smart tv and iPhone, and the output is to a 25-year old Nakamichi amplifier with Bose speakers.
