I have used the powertec caster system on the woodworking workbench I made couple of years back. It was worked quite well and my workbench is relatively heavy duty with a heavy 10 inch vise. I needed to replace some cheap casters on my dewalt planer stand. This need not have to be as heavy duty I suppose but the fact that I already had the powertec system meant that I could buy these and jist use the same set of existing caster wheels for both. It was super simple to install and works perfect.

This works great with the set of wheels. Needs 1 set of wheels to move multiple pieces of equipment by using these brackets.

They don't work with Ron Lapp workbench casters. The caster plate is too small so the wheels flip sideways when you try to roll with any weight on them.. these plates are very solid though and I am going to try to find a piece of metal filler to put in there and see if it helps. I'm thinking you're supposed to buy the same name brand casters

Bought these as part of some Powertec quick-release casters, assuming that these would work on large wood legs. What I received had flat-head bolts (actually small enough to call them "screws") and nuts that would NOT work for the wood posts, so now I cannot utilize them until I find flat-head sheet-metal, or wood screws large enough to fit the LARGE countersunk holes in these plates. Had they used that kind of screw, as is used on all the other parts that I received (casters, leg levers, etc), I could have used them today.

These caster sets are great. Put the hardware on all your tables, then keep a few sets of wheels to put on them if they ever need to be moved.
