It might take you a bit to get used to how these make no sound when retracting the pen but that's it. I love how smooth they write. I use pens a lot (I'm a author and use my journal for lots of notes when working on a project) and I have some gel pens that "glob" or leak easily. These have been wonderful. I also like to use different color inks in my notes. Can't recommend these enough.

Beware of these if you fidget with your pen. They break very easily and most of mine have cracked where the join and break open very often. They also leak a lot.

Some gel pens are better than others -- these ones are my favorites, so far. I started using them 2 yrs ago and haven't found any that I like more. The shape, the touch, how long they last, how the case looks. . .I only wish they also sold just the ink part because I hate plastic waste.

I love these pens! Writech is my favorite brand of pens. There are so many different sets from which to choose, and they don’t smudge. I keep them in my purse, junk drawer, desk, car, basically anywhere I might need a pen! The sets often go on sale, too.

Always great quality and write great! Ink doesn’t smear even with highligters. Write very smooth and the barrel colors are great!
