It is about 2" longer, but as long as you make appropriate bends similar to the original, it will fit without damaging anything. I do recommend double sided tape to mimic how it was from factory. Just be careful when reassembling the console. I still ordered the replacement board just in case as a back up. Great buy and I highly recommend.
