Better than no filter but limited limescale removal if you're in a hard water region
Having spent a lot of money on a filter tap I was looking forward to drinking tea without a layer of scum on it, but the although the water definitely tastes better the first (standard) filter made little difference to scum/limescale so I contacted Doulton/Fairey and they advised that in very hard water areas such as Essex where I live their filters have limited effect. They suggested trying this model instead. Sadly no noticeable difference in terms of limescale reduction, but still better than a jug filter.

Lasted for well over 6 months
I've tried various filters, and we are in a hard water, lime scale area... This one has lasted well over six months (other more expensive brands lasted 3 months). I'm happy with the filter and the water tastes much better

Lo compré para sustituir uno de mi apartamento con mas de 7 años, iba todavía bien, pero pensé que mejor lo cambiaba ya por si acaso y por supuesto ahora este todavía va mejor y filtra el agua mas deprisa, estoy pensando en comprar uno con el mecanismo para acoplarlo a otro grifo diferente en mi vivienda habitual pues su filtrado es muy profundo y no deja rastro de cloro ni impureza alguna en el agua.
