save the sump pump from the power loss and all the water comes sucking back into the basement.
I bought several of these one-way valves when you're pumping a lot of water man these things are worth every penny so far they hold up great and I'd say that you lose one more than it will go out Works excellent.

Works great
Works great for my sump pump. I had to replace my sump pump with one that was a different height than old one. So I took the occasion to replumb the inside pipes from the questionable way that the house builder routed it but couldn’t find the size that fit locally. I have a 10 foot up pipe and knew that it needed a check valve. This works great and no problems with installation.

No leaks, one-way valve works well
I replaced an old, leaky one-way valve connected to my basement sump pump. These have been in for about 6 months and have worked flawlessly. There are no leaks either externally or within the valve itself. It gets fairly regular use as my washing machine drains into the sump pump that has this valve.

Installed and it appears to work well so far. Installation process is as usual, no issue. No apparent noise issue. I am not quite sure if there is much leak back.
