Just got this and I'm a happy little camper. This watch case is solid and built well. The top is glass and is packed well for shipping. The hinges aren't that exciting but they work well and will hold the top open. The pillows are nice and soft - not stiff. There are 4 small feet on the bottom which helps keep it off the dresser a bit and slide well. The bottom drawer is great for my pocket and smaller watches, as well as other doodads. I finally have a nice-looking case to put all the loose timepieces I had everywhere in my bedroom. Looking around the internet there are so many choices at so many price levels (and many bad reviews), so I thought I would buy an 'amazon one' for now. But honestly, this case checks all the boxes and is now a permanent addition to my bedroom. The only picky downside is the front is not one solid piece of wood, so you can easily see the lid, front, and drawer as separate pieces. (a hand-made one would use one piece of wood to make it look seamless.). The bottom drawer is great but not as smooth as something custom-made either. But none if these is a detractor. For $35 this is an amazing deal, and I highly recommend it.

It's nice. Pillow holders feel cheap and had stuffing coming out. The bottom drawer was and is hard to open with the notch. Best to open the drawer from pulling each side. We are going to put a finish coating on it as it seems a little toooo rustic.

It’s not a super high end box - it has some literal and proverbial rough edges, but for the price I’m very happy. Build quality is alright and it looks pretty nice! Great value for what I paid.

Impressive. Clean. Well made. Creative potential. I originally bought another watch box and returned it (vinyl lined paper box 👎🏼). THIS is a better buy with potential. You can paint it or seal it. I will keep it as it is for now. Pillows are soft and not too bulky. I like the lock too. Overall happy with its design. The drawer has sorting storage for rings and other jewelry too.

Wow...I've shopped for over a year and finally found my perfect watch box. What I love: *It's rustic wood with a glass top. The wood isn't polished smooth, but it's not so rough that you'll get splinters! Easy enough to lightly sand if you want it smoother. I'm tactile and like the very slight texture it has. *It has hinges, not a ribbon, holding the lid up. The hinges aren't perfectly even, but they work just fine. *It has soft pillows, so watches with shorter bands can clasp around back. Very handy for us small-wristed folk. *It closes softly, meaning if the lid were to close abruptly, the upper and lower trims are covered by soft brown material, so the wood is protected, and, indirectly, the glass. *It just looks really nice! I was concerned about the brown color, not my first choice, but it actually is pretty neutral and makes my watches stand out! I love that this is a compact box, as my watches are 37mm-40mm dia, so they fill out the box well. I waited for the price to come down below $30 and then scooped it up. They're running even better sales now, but even at $35-40, it's a great deal. I'm even thinking of getting one as a backup!
