I had this model on my basket for a while now and with the release of the 970, comparing both meant not much of a weight on my decision, as I was upgrading my Forerunner 735XT. The price point which 965 fell under it was the decision maker for me. So many positives, but the battery life has to be up there with the features available for sports and sleep tracking. Top purchase, could not be happier.

Coming from an AW6 and previous garmin watches, this is a great sports watch and generally works very well. Delivery process was just fine. Pros: battery, display and training metrics also decently plays well with other apps. This is much improved over older models. Cons: screen is not too well protected so a protector is a must. Wish it had a soft nylon strap option. The touch interface could be a bit improved. In some cases it’s too easy to hit, in others it seems a bit laggy…such in some navigation screens. Otherwise a very comfortable and good sports watch.

Despues de mucha revisión, decidí Forerunner 965. La alternativa era el Epix Pro 2, sus diferencias: - sensor mas nuevo, - la luz de linterna independiente - capacidad de 200 mts dentro del agua - el doble de precio Por el resto, el Forerunner tiene el mismo sistema operativo, las mismas funciones, las mismas actividades. Los pros desde mi punto de vista: - Reloj apto para el día a día, no es tan aparatoso como el Epix o el Fenix (lo puedo llevar en la oficina) - Perfil mas bajo - Más liviano - Perfecto para ir a correr y de hiking - Batería en uso promedio de 15 dias (usando GPS, actividades registrando: correr todos los días 4 KM, caminar todos los días 5 km, hiking de fin de semana 8-10 km, escalda indoors - Precio más bajo La verdad si no tienes actividades de uso rudo y lo quieres usar en tu día a día, recomiendo el forerunner 965. Muy contento con la compra. :)

Upgraded feom the 645 Music. So glad I made the jump. This is the best wearbale tech I have ever owned.
