Are the connections waterproof?

Don’t think they’re fully waterproof, unless permanently sealed together. Should be OK, if they get slightly wet. I use them for power connections between G Scale locomotives, run outdoors in any weather! Have never had issues with water, or snow.

Can they be used for speaker connection about 160 watts?

It seems to small to handle that power

Are either male or female connectors removable from their wiring? Do you need a special tool to insert the wiring into connectors ( male or female?

Each wire has a metal "blade" crimped to the end which is then just held in the plastic connector by a small "barb." You can remove the wire and the metal blade by inserting a paperclip or safety pin to depress the barn and release it from the connector. This is useful, for example, to swap the red/black depending on what you are connecting to. If you wanted to swap out the wire itself, it looks like you would need additional tools/parts to crimp a new blade before putting the connector back on.
