Solid, good quality standing desk frame.
We're all working from home more these days. With childcare and working from home I'm not quite getting the time I'd like to exercise, and find myself when I am working spending a lot of time sitting at my desk. I thought I'd get a standing desk to at least get me on my feet at least sometimes. After a lot of research I found generally positive reviews and coverage of the Flexispot standing desk frames. So, in a prime sale, I picked this E5B up at an absolute bargain price. The package is quite heavy but compact, so I was easily able to heft it up to my home office. The instructions were for the most part very clear and with time, patience and a power drill I had it all put together with an IKEA GERTON table top in an hour or so. I did it by myself, but would recommend a helping hand if you can get it. The desk takes my hefty computer, two monitors, big bookshelf speakers, and more without any complaints. It has a quiet and smooth motor to adjust the height, with three memory settings and even an option to remind you to adjust height and break up the habit of working in one position too long. The only minor complaint I have is the control unit fits into the desk with two screws on some plastic slots, and these slots fatigued quite quickly under the friction of the screws being put in with the power drill even on a low setting. I had to adjust the screws and take it very slowly, but given the solid wood desk I needed to drill it in as wouldn't have been able to do it manually. I would have preferred the slots be thicker plastic, or ideally metal, with screw holes like the rest of the parts, to make a better fit. So, do be careful when fitting the control unit. But otherwise, works like a charm, feels solid, and delighted to have a desk that I could pick a top for that fits my needs. Next up I'm considering putting my PC in a smaller case and popping it into a Flexispot CPU holder to hang under the desk and get a bit more desk space, and maybe a monitor arm or two. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Stands up to a large heavy timber top ** Excellent buy
Mission Accomplished. I am standing up as I type this message and feeling good for having the extra flexibility of working from home....comfortably. My project was to overhaul my home office since I will be WFH through to at least Q2 2021 since we are shielding my missus (from Covid-19). I had back problems in mid-2019 due to a misaligned chair and desk height, so getting an ergonomic chair and a standing desk was the aim. So onto the review itself: ** Putting it together is so easy. It comes with allen keys and the screws are in separate clearly labelled packs ** The screws are excellent quality and do not shred as you screw, then unscrew, and re-screw them ** I have put a large, very heavy piece of timber (180cm L x 70cm W x 5cm H) on the Flexispot E5B desk frame ** The power mechanism easily copes with the height adjustment for this substantially weighted desk top ** It does wobble a little at the top height but it certainly cannot fall over ** The whirring sound as it adjusts the height is relatively quiet too ** The frame is solid and heavy as you would expect. It feels so dependable.

Excellent quality and ideal for home build desks
I just love this Flexispot lifting frame. I decided to build a sit stand desk for home working and used this frame combines with a custom piece of oak from worktop express. Despite a large 4 cm thick piece of oak and two monitors sitting on top of this frame it moves smoothly, quickly and almost silently. The memory functions and in built timer work well and the anti-collision device triggers when necessary to stop the movement. The build is really robust and looks like it will last for many years. When in the fully lifted position the desk remains stable and does not wobble around like some I have used. I used threaded insert nuts in the wooden desktop and matching brass bolts and it went together beautifully although if you use these instead of the supplied screws you do need to be precise with positioning because there is a small amount of tolerance around each bolt. All in all a very good buy.

Heavy bit of kit worth every penny.
What a beast of a thing! If you want a standing desk, you can't go far wrong with this one. A good bit of kit with two hefty motors, and feels sturdy despite having only two long feet. Motors havent struggled even with a huge weight bias on one side (for me its a clampmounted 4 x 27in screen array) Desk isn't tilting or leaning. Vibrates the teeniest amount when aggressively typing, and this is worse, the higher you have it, but not noticeable and perfectly acceptable all things considered. Goes together easy enough, though one thing to watch out for when building. The main cross bar goes on one particular way up. There is restrictive metal to stop you putting it on the wrong way up, but only on one hole. Be aware of this when building as it's not mentioned.!

amazing desk ~ E5
I got this for my work from home so in all I only ended up paying ÂŁ68.99 for this because of an allowance from my work but even then this desk is still so good for the price when other desks cost A LOT more and especially now with the ÂŁ91 off voucher. It easily handles the weight of 3 monitors, a laptop, 2 keyboards and then drinks, speakers, and other bits and bobs. A really amazing part is the flexibility of the desk where you can extend to fit already existing desktops that you may have, I've fitted it to my previously static legged Ikea top. It makes noise but like only for 5/6 seconds and it's only a bit of a hum. It moves nice and quick and even though I only use 2 profiles (one for up and one for down) it is good if you maybe share the desk with someone else? It's easy to put together even alone, but it definitely does help if you have an electric screwdriver for sure as otherwise it could take a while longer with the provided Allen key. All in all a really amazing desk

Overall happy with purchase
I chose to buy this desk as a future investment as: - the width adjust-ability should allow me to reduce and expand long term if I move houses. - the desk is generic and allows table tops to be exchanged (if I move and want to change the style) - I'm working at home full time and therefore wanted an ergonomic option of alternating between sitting and standing (General reviews suggest people are more likely to use this feature on an automated height adjusting desk than a manual due to laziness). I also chose this particular flexispot as: - I preferred the design of the "pyramid" designed legs. Supposedly this allows for greater height adjustment and more sturdiness. - can carry a load significantly above the weight of my monitor and computer tower - Comes with an anti collision feature to stop the desk if colliding with anything Desk setup was pretty straight forward with easy enough instructions. However the real pain was having to line up and pre-drill 16 holes on the table top. Note, I think if you opt for a flexispot table top it will come with pre-drilled holes, however instead I opted to buy the table top from Ikea (Gerton) who have a wider range and are generally cheaper. I don't regret the decision, it was just a bit of hassle. However, with this newly developed skill, I attached an extension cord to the underside of the table and used the table brackets to aid in cable management. Really useful and the slick absent cabling really gives the table a pro look (especially more noticeable when you have it in the up position). Up and down motion is fairly quick and smooth. no problems here. However, I have an issue with the sensitivity of the anti collision feature. the sensitivity can be set to 1 of 3 settings. The first 2 were too sensitive to even allow it to fully ascend / descend. I tried lifting and relaxing each leg to ensure that they not at an angle, I also checked my table to see if it was straight and parallel. Table seemed fined and has metal bars fitted internally to prevent warping. The 3rd sensitivity setting allowed for ascending and descending, however I haven't really dared to see if it stops on collision as I don't want to risk damage. After all of the hassle of assembling and drilling holes I couldn't be bothered to chase this up with the supplier to troubleshoot especially if it meant having to return it. Overall, I'm happy with the desk but if i had to buy a gain would opt for a cheaper model without the anti-collision feature as it doesn't look like all of the kinks have been worked out. Also, full disclosure, I was prompted to leave this review as flexispot offer an upgraded one year warranty and 10% off another unit for leaving an unbiased review.

Sturdy Desk Frame for Ultimate Comfort and Support - Perfect for My Bad Back!
As an IT professional working from home for 8 hours a day, I’ve struggled with back pain. On my physiotherapist’s advice, I decided to switch to a standing desk. I already had a good-sized IKEA desk, so I opted for the FLEXISPOT E5 Standing Desk Frame. Here’s my experience: The desk frame arrived quickly and was very well packaged, with everything wrapped and protected. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I took my time assembling it, ensuring the cables were tidy, as shown in the attached photos. This desk frame adjusts from low to very high positions, which suits my needs perfectly. I’ve programmed the standing and sitting heights, allowing me to switch between them with the press of a button. The transitions are fast and smooth, and the frame feels incredibly robust. I’m absolutely loving this desk frame and highly recommend it. It works seamlessly with my IKEA tabletop and has significantly improved my work-from-home setup and back pain management. Product details: FLEXISPOT E5 Standing Desk Frame, Dual Motors, 160KG Load Capacity, Adjustable with 4 Positional Memories (sitting, standing, 3, and 4), plus manual up and down buttons.

Essential for anyone who works at a desk all day!
Context: I'm a remote web developer so I spend a minimum of 40 hours a week at my desk at home. TLDR: I absolutely love this desk so far, I was beginning to get back ache after a days work as it's just easy to slump over in my chair. Since getting this desk I typically spend about half my day standing up and find it very comfortable and useful. Stability: The desk itself is very stable even at full height, I live in a flat with carpeted floors and so there is a bit of wobble caused from the floor quality but if you set it up on a solid floor surface then you will have no issues, but on carpet it will have a bit of wobble admittedly. Quality: All of the parts are great quality nothing feels skimped on. Ease of setting up: it is very simple to put together but it will take about 30-45 mins as there's a load of pieces to put together, instructions were great. Performance: I have large speakers and multiple monitors on my desk and it handles movement swiftly and gracefully.. Unforeseen benefits: Friends all love seeing the desk move too!

Easy install and sturdy desk frame
The product comes well packaged. Very easy to setup for 200x60 board. Working as desired and no complains so far. The motor is silent, the top height is very good. No cabling options though.

Optisch macht er auch richtig was her.
