Candle by the Hour 80-Hour Red Candle, Eco-friendly Natural Beeswax with Cotton Wick

One of the candles had 2 of the bolts missing from the bottom. I located them loose in the bottom of the box under the flap. I had previously purchased some of these candles and had lit them for a short time to burn. It was actually a good thing the bolts were loose, it made me take the complete candle apart as you would do when replacing the wax candle. In doing so, I realized the candle had a paper tube inside for support for shipping. I looked inside the other candles I had previously purchased and found they too had paper tubes. In the directions there is no mention of that tube, so I never looked inside. I'm just glad I didn't burn the candle down low enough to catch that tube on fire. Customers need to be made aware to remove the paper tube before burning. Otherwise, the candles are really beautiful.

Really cool...but wick burns down fast.

The clamp is VERY hard to open. I assume that's necessary to make it snuff the candle out. I just wasn't expecting that so I bit into my candle more than I wanted to trying to load it the first time. Test opening the clamp alone before you even attempt to load the candle in. That way if you're a weakling like me you can have someone help you.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it! She uses it all the time and due to the size the lifespan is actually incredible. Will definitely be getting another once this one has lived its life.

I gave this as a Christmas gift. It’s really fun to look at but the wick has to be advanced every 15 minutes or so. It’s supposed to be scented but there is absolutely no scent. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t buy again but it is a unique gift

Perfect for after my kids smell up the bathroom. I simply pull about an inch of candle above the hold line and light it. Self extinguishing and refreshes the bathroom.

This is a poor choice. I ordered cinnamon for the holidays. The candle has no fragrance and an inch of wax does not last longer than ten minutes (I timed it). I am glad I purchased and tried before I gifted. Very disappointed since it really looked different and cool. What is totally amazing to me is that it has been over two weeks since I wrote the review above and have not heard a word from the manufacturer.

This is a VERY unique candle and it does everything it is supposed to do. It burns slowly with little residue. When it burns down to the drip cup it extinguishes. Almost no residue. It is very sturdy and I do not forsee it tipping. It is easy to pull it up for the next burning. And, it is a great conversation piece.
