not some poor attempt to appease my taste buds
Biltong took longer to arrive then stated.... but oh my well worth the wait. Firstly upon opening the packet, a burst of that fresh biltong smell... now I know this is not important for some but being South African it is very important to me... and we bought from a few other suppliers and this was the first time I had a sense of true SA biltong... not some poor attempt to appease my taste buds.... the biltong did not look black like some previous orders from sellers... ( you know like the meat is years old) this had colour to it with bits of fat here and then.... not oily like others.... in fact I am so over the moon with the taste, look, and smell of this biltong I am telling everyone I know.... and I have a good sized family here to recommend it to... Hunters.... I cannot say enough about this biltong.... I felt like I was sitting back home in the cape eating biltong I just bought from the butcher.... I know everyone has different taste buds and like different things... but if you are looking for good old traditional biltong that is in my opinion perfect.... Hunters is my top recommendation.... I can see this will be a monthly demand... will try the worse soon and give my thoughts... but Hunters.... Thank you thank you thank you
