Everything you need in a humidifyer
Love, love this product. Adjustable mist output makes the control of the humidity just perfect. Set up is sooo easy. No smell, noise is very very low. Use this in our living room and it does a beautiful job. We got a smaller one for our bedroom and love that unit too. It is clear so you can see the water level. Has automatic shut off. Is super easy to clean. I use distilled water so there is no mineral deposit. Have had for 3 months now and it is perfect

Quiet, easy to program, easy to fill, compact.
The humidifier is great. We purchased two of them two years ago based upon Consumer Report reviews. One stopped working and we trouble shot with the company, but to no avail. They promptly sent a new one and we are back in business.

Impressed by long time run and auto function!
I am totally impressed. This sits in our living room (our home is about 1600 square feet) and it humidifes the whole home (3 bedroom, 2 bath and den, all one level). I set it to 50% and then set to auto and it runs like a charm, keeping the percentage in all rooms right at 50%. (It can be controlled by an app to do this on your phone but I didn't bother with that. I don't like complicated things.) It has a 6 gallon tank so you don't have to constantly fill it. I have lived in a northern climate for decades, where it's not uncommon to get to minus 10 or minus 15 Fahrenheit, and occasionally lower. It gets really dry at that temperature. I used an evaporative wick system in the late 90s but there was no way to set the percentage of humidity and I had condensate running down the windows. So I had switched to the ultrasonic white dust monsters that make me cough, with one in each room. I just got fed up and sprang for this system. I am really pleased. It is not much bigger than the air purifier I had sitting in the same place. It doesn't look out of place. It rolls on wheels right over to the sink and comes with a hose that can go from your kitchen sink to the tank to fill up 6 gallons. You don't need distilled or purified water. It's pretty easy to use. There is a casing with four black filters sitting on a platform above the water. The filters remove easily from the housing and can be rinsed under the sink faucet. They don't sit in the water, like other evaporative systems. There is a pump system that brings the water up. Not sitting in the water means you don't get all the gunky looking stuff on the wick filters like in other humidifiers. I like that you can just empty the water tank and wipe it out to clean it. They include a cleaning brush with the system and have pretty good instructions on cleaning and descaling if and when it needs that. Once it got up to the 50% after I originally set it up, the fan hardly runs. It just kicks in on low when it gets to a few percentage points below 50%. So it hardly makes any noise at all. One of the reviews described it as a "swamp cooler" but I haven't experience that at all. It seems like the normal room temperature that it was before. I am super pleased with the automatic function and am sorry I didn't buy this type of humidifier years ago. Update a day later- I went to order replacement wicks online and saw a link to wicks plus a white donut shaped filter. I didn't see anything like this in the system I have so I wrote to Levoit yesterday to ask whether my system (with the pump) is supposed to have these donut shaped filters. Big plus- they wrote back a day later (since I emailed them on a Sunday) and said that the donut shaped ones were not for my system. This is what they wrote: "The small black oblong oval piece at the bottom of the pump is the water filter sponge for your humidifier. This is different from the white donut-shaped water filters you may see online, which are for other models. The water filter sponge is optional and can be omitted if desired. Discoloration due to oxidation is normal." They went on to send me a like for cleaning the water filter sponge with vinegar, just like the donut shaped ones are cleaned. So, just so you know the Superior 6000S model with pump does NOT need the small donut shaped filters. I did also order some of the "cleaning fish" that I saw offered for the other Levoit model to help with hard water problems.

Good humidifier
Super easy to use and i love the convenience of being able to control it on your phone. Deep cleaning it with distilled vinegar every week is a con for sure. Also if you use tap water it will scale super quickly, and possibly cause white dust. I do enjoy being able to set the percentage that I want it at and then just leaving it and it will automatically keep the room at that percentage. I bought it because i have baseboard heating abd kept waking up feeling super dry. We were using the baby frida one since it was gifted to us but it doesnt compare, this one holds enough water to last all day. Good for the price, i like that its not super bulky either. Overall i think its a great purchase and im happy with it.

First Impressions: Levoit Superior 6000S – A Sleek, Quiet, and Powerful Whole-Home Humidifier
Beauty is only skin-deep, but I have to say, the Levoit Superior 6000S looks fantastic right out of the box. Its modern, clean design doesn't scream "utility appliance" and blends seamlessly with our home decor. I usually wait a few weeks before writing a review, but this unit had me impressed from the moment I opened it! Assembly was incredibly straightforward, everything fits together tightly and securely. You could honestly put it together without the instructions (speaking as someone who typically skips them anyway!). The only easy-to-miss part is the pump on the bottom tray, but Levoit thoughtfully included a reminder on the first bag you remove. In just minutes, it's fully assembled and ready to go. App setup is a breeze too. I'm already familiar with the VeSync app from my other Levoit products, a countertop ultrasonic humidifier and a whole-house air purifier, and both have been excellent. The app is intuitive, easy to navigate, and lets you control settings, monitor humidity, and more remotely. Filling the massive 6-gallon tank is simple, thanks to the included durable water-filling hose (not some flimsy vinyl one, this feels built to last). The built-in caster wheels on the bottom make relocating the unit effortless, you just roll it to the sink instead of lifting heavy water. That said, you still need to bend down to maneuver it, so it might not be ideal for anyone with back issues. Controls are super convenient: adjust settings directly on the easy-to-reach touch panel on top, or use the app. Within minutes of unboxing, I had it running and adding moisture to our home. Unlike our old hardware-store evaporative humidifier that rattled constantly, the Superior 6000S is remarkably quiet. My wife, who wears hearing aids, no longer notices any distracting fan noise, even when it's placed just feet from our recliners in the living room. It also offers a Sleep Mode for even quieter operation at night. The built-in humidity reading on the unit tracks very closely to our independent indoor sensors, so it seems accurate and reliable. This is a whole-home unit designed to cover up to 3,000 square feet with 360° mist-free evaporative humidification (no white dust or wet spots). With a large tank, it can run for up to 72 hours on lower settings. Yes, the price is a bit higher than basic models, but the value is outstanding, premium build, smart features, quiet performance, and consistent results. I've had nothing but great experiences with all our Levoit products, and the Superior 6000S is no exception. Highly recommended if you're looking for effective whole-house comfort!

Amazing purifier. Being smart is definitely worth every penny as you just need to adjust it once and it will do the trick
