Never had one of these; how is it that it doesn't leak if the closed chug cap is turned down since it doesn't look like it screws on?

It does screw on and has internal threads so you don't feel them. Zero leaks from this quality bottle. These are well made (and better be due to the price).

Part of the straw is exposed which I did not realize - it’s not very sanitary. Can you link a different top with straw that has a dust cover??

Excellent quality, convenient to use.

I love this flask. It performs as advertised. I keep it in my car and on hot days it keeps my water cool all day. I like the straw feature which is very convenient and easy to use in the car. I can use it with one hand without taking my eyes off the road. I also use it at work in the field where again it maintains temperature and the straw works well.
