前作の結末が衝撃的だったので、約1年間この作品の発表を待ちわびていました。 現在のアメリカ国内及び世界情勢を舞台に某大国の陰謀が描かれていますが、実際に起こりそうでもあり、恐ろしくなります。 アメリカの過去も大きなテーマになっています。

Super spy thriller

Love these James Reece books by Jack Carr. Although not the strongest of the collection definitely worth the read.

Gran suspenso

Waited ages to get this book. Finally got it, started reading it and wanted to skip to the last pages to find out what happened. But I resisted. The first part threw me as I re read pages from a previous book. Then the real book began. God I loved the way James’s experience in prison was handled. It was riveting and set a tone through out the book. This book took me longer to read than any others as I didn’t want to miss anything. Heavy reading at times but it took you into all the details and set the vibe for the book. I’ve read people say this is the end of the series. I hope it bluddy well isn’t. As a stand alone book I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as much so I strongly suggest reading all the previous 5 books before getting into this one.
