Can play tricks on glucose levels so if you're diabetic take heed. I've found that 3 is the perfect serving. These are moist, sweet and satisfying. None were dried up so everything was soft and

This was purchased for a stuffed date appetizer. They were a nice size, already split & pitted. Good affordable option & tasted great.

Good dates
These dates are smaller and softer than others I've bought. They last a long time and taste great.

Read before you leap.
I know these dates will work out just fine but I wish I had taken the time to query the Amazon website more carefully since I really prefer the chopped dates which I use to bake Date Muffins. Yes, yes I can chop the dates I purchased and will do so as required. I know this is a quality product but I blame myself for not reading the description more thoroughly.

Delicious Dates..
After reading some of the somewhat negative reviews here I have to disagree. I realize everyone tastes things a little differently and what's tasty to me might not be to someone else. I thought these dates were absolutely delicious. I've eaten many fresh dates when I worked for several years in the Middle East and these are as good as any I've ever tried. For them to have been prepackaged I didn't think that was too bad. These Sun Maid Dates are moist but not mushy and I found no missed pits or stems. Each package has a perfect mix of some soft and some a little firmer but none that appeared to have been harvested too early. They taste naturally sweet and there's no sugar listed in the ingredients. In fact.. the only ingredient listed is Pitted Dates.
