I'll start off with the positives... the G1 has a great picture for the money! Android TV is included, which is nice. No issues with Roku coming through the HDMI port, looks great! Now the negatives... after just a few hours, the remote control stopped working. After installing the android pod, it started working for Android TV only. Have to turn the unit on and off manually, along with using auto focus manually. Thank goodness the unit has some manual controls on the projector. Also, the AC plug does not fit well into the projector, so if you move the unit around to adjust, the plug comes out. I've reached out to Goodee customer support two days ago, no response so far. It would be nice if the picture was brighter, so daytime viewing is possible, but that's a minor negative, because at this price point, you won't find a projector that can adequately perform outside during the day or in a bright room. If Goodee can resolve the aforementioned negative issues, I'll be happy to upgrade my review, cause I do like the picture quality of this projector.

Surprising Brightness and quality Pros: As someone who spends a lot of time watching movies and programming/debugging, this projector is perfect for me as it is super bright and crisp even in daylight. My eyes won't feel tired easily. It autofocuses so I can move them to a new place whenever I want. I could customize the projection size by moving backward/forwards. It comes with a bag and the size is nice so hanging it was easy and convenient. Can easily pair with the atv box and connect to the wifi! I could cast anything from my phone by simpily syncing them both. (good for a movie night with friends) Cons: So far no, but I will update here if any. And I'll likely buy a second for out door use this summer!

It is dscripted as 5G but it is connecting to only 2.4gh network only. Very slow on loading apps and playing movies.

I received and installed this projector today and I am already disappointed. I don't feel this unit lives up to the specs it lists and I would definitely recommend purchasing another brand. 1) Brightness is overstated in the item description. My older projector with an ansi rating of 340 was far brighter than this unit. 2) Bluetooth is not for the projector itself but the small amazon tv box that comes with it. If you have multiple devices connected to the projector and you wanted to bluetooth your sound to an extrenal speaker you are out of luck. 3) Changing the projector settings is a nightmare. - Projector settings page is one size (huge) and cannot be changed. In my case the settings are on the ceiling and unreadable without unmounting the projector from the ceiling. -Changing the aspect ratio must be done from the settings page and you can't see where you are at unless you exit and go to hdmi or google tv.

Excelente image and easy to connect to my jbl sound system by Bluetooth. Despite has Netflix button on the remote control i couldn’t find on the apps to install. Weird because i have a TV and have more app options.

The projector part seems to work decently. It’s not terribly bright; you need it to be quite dark, but what did you expect with a projector in this price range. I’m having problems connecting the mini android box inside it to either our network or to android phones, so I suspect it’s defective. This causes problems because the remote doesn’t work; you can’t adjust volume, connect to an external Bluetooth speaker, etc. if the remote worked or it could be adjusted by an external Roku box we would be set. When manually connecting to an HDMI source it has good picture quality. Anyway if they respond to support email and fix the problem I will adjust the rating.
