YAKIMA - HD Bar, Heavy Duty Crossbar, Small (55")

Yakima HD Bars fit perfectly on Yakima Overhaul HD that we put on my son’s 2025 Maverick. As always from Yakima, high quality and durable parts.

Was liking the look of these and the Track Towers I ordered for my truck. It took some effort to track down the right mix of towers and bars for my truck camper since Yakima's website is very sparse on information outside of their selection tool, but things looked good when they arrived. When I went to put everything together I soon learned that neither the Track Towers nor the HD Bars have the hardware to attach to each other. You have to purchase separate hardware that you can't even find on their site! The bars are +$300 and the mounting towers are +$200, could they not throw some T bolts into either box for that price!? My truck cap, very specifically requires the Yakima products due to the rack tracks that came on it from the factory. If your vehicle has different options that will work, just go with another option that is actually fairly priced and less of a headache.

Great bars, they fit my Smittybilt overlanding tent, kayaks, climbing gear, mountain bikes and triathlon bikes with simple attachments. Durable and they feel almost indestructible when attached. They do have small groves that for a quarter inch bolt so you can attach almost anything with a but of creativity.

Stable and good quality. We used it 2 weeks ago and so far, it did meet expectations.
