I have been eating this cereal daily for about 2 years and I really like it. It has a great amount of fiber and I can tell you first hand that it does the job. It kind of looks like rabbit food and will not overwhelm you with flavor. After eating for a week or so I really started noticing a little sweetness and really enjoy the flavor now. It’s not anything like eating high sugar cereal but I enjoy the flavor and the crunch. I would not leave it sitting in milk too long before eating because it absorbs pretty fast and will get pretty soggy. It is low calorie and has decent protein in it as well. Besides the health ingredients it helped me lose over 60 lbs. I find that it keeps me full longer than most breakfast that I eat. It is a little pricier than other cereals but for the clean and quality ingredients I find it a good value. Try for a week or two and I think it will grow on you.

I was looking for something that had almost the daily allowance of fiber in one serving. I came across this! The ingredients are clean and the cereal is filling. Im in my late 20s and the rate of colon cancer has been increasing over the years. It feels good knowing that this will help my gut/colon health with the amount of fiber it offers in a serving. The sugar content is low, it doesn’t taste like rabbit food despite the way it looks (lol), and I’d say the value is alright. You can expect to pay a tiny premium for something of this quality - that being said the price point is NOT terrible at all when you think of other big name brands that cost nearly $6/box for super processed cereals full of sugar that aren’t organic. You can feel good purchasing this 👍

Tastes great with all of the nutrients you might expect. It is really good with almond milk and raisins.

The Cereal is great. however with the new shipping packaging this is the 3rd time it has arrived cruched. Please swithch back to the cardboard shipping box. Will purchase it a whole foods directly from now on.

This has really helped me, it has so much fiber I'd be willing to eat it forever if it continues to help me with bowel issues. The taste is not great but thats to be expected, after all it is bran. My only disappointment is the time for delivery, its been 5 days & its supposedly due for delivery tomorrow, guess I'll order more at a time so I do not run out, the order I'm waiting on is 3 boxes. Again if it's delivered tomorrow that will be the 6th day from my order - so don't depend on a fast delivery would be my advice. Good luck.

A tale of two bowls, if you will...one stoneware, one porcelain. First bowl: I've found SB cereal to be palatable enough to easily get most of my daily fiber in one serving. I like that the SB is puffed, rather than dense and crunchy as many high fiber cereals can be - it softens in milk and is easy to eat. I like to add sliced bananas and/or some Flax Plus Maple flakes to the bran to impart a bit of flavor and texture - pretty tasty. Second bowl: While I find SB on the pricy side, for me it works out to <$1.00 a serving (60 grams). Getting an entire days fiber in one 60 gram serving for under a buck isn't a bad deal. Some days I find it hard to get in enough fiber and having Smart Bran on-hand makes the task easy. And finally, YES, SB will keep your bowels moving properly!
