This bench surprised me in the best way. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and doesn’t wobble at all — even during heavier lifts. Assembly took just a few minutes, and the padding is firm enough to feel supportive without being hard. I use it for presses, step-ups, core work, you name it, and it holds up perfectly. For the price, the quality is honestly impressive. If you just need a reliable, no-frills flat bench for home workouts, this one is a total win.

4 out of 5 because I only just assembled today and do not yet know about wear and tear over time. This bench is sturdy. Solid. No movement at all while I was testing it out. Clear simple instructions. All hardware is correct and easy to figure that out(use the wrench!) 🔧 Im sure this is common sense-But I messed up right at the beginning with the wrench—make sure the smooth side of the wrench is facing the metal frame while tightening; I scratched the metal with the first two screws because I had the rough side of wrench on the metal(luckily can’t be seen cuz it’s on underside). I learned from my mistake. Great quality! I recommend this bench.👍 Decided to change to 5 stars and will edit if something goes wrong. This is a good product. AND it was packaged perfectly in a sturdy box as well!

The only reason I didn't give this bench 5-stars.was it could use just a little more padding, but with that said I'd buy it again at this price point. I'm 5'11 and it works for me with a few inches to spare if I'm on flat on the bench. See pics. It's the right size for a home gym and it's really easy to move around to do what I need it to do. I can do step ups, bulgarian squats, shoulder press, bicep curls, dumbbell chest press, rows, etc. If you are creative, you can make this pretty much do anything you need for your workouts. It only took 10-15 minutes to assemble so I was getting after it within minutes of opening the carton.

Best flat bench you can buy for the money. Good size if you’re under under 6 feet tall. I wouldn’t rec if you’re tall. Bench is very solid. Doesn’t wobble. Light and easy to move around. Amazing bench for the price. Pro - affordable, comfy - light. Easy to move around in a home gym - solid / no wobbles - easy to assemble. Cons - if you put all your weight on the very very tip / edge of the bench, it will tip up. I had this happen while trying to use some free weights. If it was heavier. This wouldn’t happen. For the most part. It’s a non issue. - not good for tall people. Your head will dangle off the edge when laying down.

Lightweight. Easy to assemble. Very stable. I weight around 170 and use dumbbells from 25 to 65 pounds for a variety of of exercises and it’s very stable.

You get alot for the price. I was able to grab this bench on sale for $38! This bench is very solid, no wobble and works as you would expect a bench that has a 700 lbs max capacity. It is shorter and sits a little higher than my adjustable bench, which is a positive, because it helps with posture when doing various seated movements like seated shoulder press, or bent over single arm dumbbell rows with a knee on the bench. Overall A+ bench for the price and a great addition to my home gym.

I can't imagine a more solid bench for the money. I wish the wooden base of the pad was a little thicker and more robust given the lateral forces that will probably be exerted on the four holding bolts, but again, for the money, this is a great bench.

Llegó en muy buen estado. Es realmente estable. Yo peso 108 kilos y me sorprendió su estabilidad. Con mis pies tocando el suelo ya son menos de 108 kilos, pero mi barbell para bench press es de 50 kilos así es de que soporta fácilmente más de 120 kg sin dificultad. Solo un detalle, yo mido 1.85 y tengo que decir que apenas puedo recargar una parte de mi cabeza (si me acomodo bien) pero la mayoría de las veces mi cabeza sale del banco. No es un gran problema porque las reps no duran mucho, pero te lo comparto por si mides más de 1.85 este banco estaría corto para ti ya que la cabeza pueda estar fuera del banco, pero la espalda definitivamente NO ya que es tu principal apoyo para bench press. Claro, que te pudiera servir para otro tipo de ejercicios. Trae herramienta y material para su ensamblado (no necesitas nada más). Así es de que si mides 185 o menos es excelente no solo para bench press, sino para todos los ejercicios posibles con este fuerte y estable banco.

The picture they show has the screws showing on the top, so you think it is screwed together and question the sturdiness when in fact it is bolted together, it was assembled wrong in the picture the Nylon lock nuts go on the top. That was my only concern when I purchased it. It is bolted together, and it is extremely sturdy. You just can't beat the quality for this price. Anything extra you pay for a different bench is purely for aesthetics and brand name. It doesn't get any sturdier than the Amazon Basics bench. I like the no logo black finish. Really hard to get a better flat bench for the price. It's kinda basic and light but it seems sturdier than it appears on the photos and is very VERY stable! 10/10 would buy it again if I was making a home gym on a budget.
