Review: A Must-Have for Renters – Strong Hold, No Wall Damage - I’ve been using Command Strips for years now, and I honestly wouldn’t go back to nails or drawing pins for hanging pictures and decorations. They’re so much easier to use, far less messy, and they’re especially brilliant if you’re living in rented accommodation. One of the biggest advantages for me is that they remove cleanly without damaging the wall, so there’s no need to fill holes or repaint when it’s time to move out. As long as you follow the instructions and pull the tab in the correct direction when removing them, they come off cleanly and easily. I’ve used them on everything from lightweight prints to heavier picture frames. For larger frames, I simply use a few extra strips as recommended, and I’ve never had a frame fall down. The hold is surprisingly strong and reliable. I’ve been so impressed with them that I’ve recommended them to friends and family, and many of them now use Command Strips regularly too. They’re one of those products that genuinely make life easier and do exactly what they promise. One important tip: when removing them, take the picture frame off first, then pull the release tab straight down along the wall, not out away from the wall. Following the instructions this way has allowed the strips to come off cleanly without damaging the paint. Highly recommended. Review: Great picture hanging strips - Great Picture Hanging Strips... The size is good for what I need... I do textured art on smaller canvas and two of these will hold the picture perfectly onto the wall. They are easy to use as obviously you stick them to the picture first then the wall second, I have taken them off the wall again after and the paint didn't come off but then I suppose that will depend on how stable your paint is, if it is old and flaky then it will take some off... but as yet I have had no problems... I like this sort of thing as I can then move the picture around if I want too, I think they are value for money as you do get a few ## Features - INCLUDES - 8 Pairs of X-Large, White Command Picture Hanging Strips (16 Strips total); 4 XL strips holds 20 lbs. Max frame size 24 in. x 36 in - DAMAGE-FREE DECORATING- Say goodbye to holes, marks, or sticky residue on your walls; Command Picture Hanging Strips by 3M are easy to use and help keep your walls looking beautiful - NO TOOLS REQUIRED- Hang picture frames, wall art, mirrors, wall clocks, signs, dry erase boards, holiday decorations, acoustic foam boards, and other home decor where you want without nails or a hammer - STRONG AND VERSATILE-Command Strips hold strongly on a variety of indoor surfaces including painted walls, finished wood (painted or varnished shiplap, cabinets, or doors), painted concrete cinder block, laminate, glass, tile, metal, and other smooth surfaces - REMOVES CLEANLY- Redecorate when inspiration strikes. I like that they’re easy to use and don’t leave marks or damage the wall when removed. A few didn’t hold as well as expected on slightly textured surfaces, but overall, they’re a good solution for damage-free hanging. ## Frequently Bought Together - Command 20 Lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips, Damage Free Hanging Picture Hangers, Heavy Duty Wall Hanging Strips for Living Spaces, 8 White Adhesive Strip Pairs - Command 20 lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips 16 Pairs (32 Command Strips), Damage Free Hanging Picture Hangers, Heavy Duty Wall Hanging Strips for Home Decor, White Adhesive Strips - Command Large Picture Hanging Strips, White, Holds up to 16 lbs, 14-Pairs, Easy to Open Packaging --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/546384252-17217-8es-hanging-strips-x-large-white-8-count](https://www.desertcart.it/products/546384252-17217-8es-hanging-strips-x-large-white-8-count) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
