Great source of protein for a nice sweet treat

This arrived from the vendor in a sturdy cardboard box with 12 tamper evident sealed bags of protein chips. The bags and the box all had an expiration date (06 JAN 2024) clearly stamped on them. These are totally off the cuff. If you forgot or don’t read the bag prior to eating, you’ll be hard pressed to categorize what exactly these are supposed to taste like. I suggest you serve them without letting folks know what they are labeled as, you eat along & encourage, as at the first taste many folks are going to be resistant to continue. But keep them chomping, keep them guessing. My guess is no one will figure out the contents or the name as labeled on the bag. That’s what redeems this “treat”, you can taste 12 different things. They are salty but they are sweet, they are — well I don’t want to put up a spoiler. These are good for drawing your attention to trying to decode the tastes (there are many) & at the same time they satisfy your craving for a snack. Interesting to me, fun to “pull out and spring on new victims”.

The other kinds are good this birthday cake one tastes like crap and I ordered it on accident cuz I thought it was just avocado oil and now they won't let me return it do not ever order birthday cake it is disgusting and inedible.

The birthday cake is definitely not a flavor I enjoyed. The texture reminds me a lot of pork rinds.

I was rather skeptical about the birthday flavor, I just couldn't imagine how a cake flavor would taste good on a chip but I was proven wrong. This chip is super tasty. It has a mild sweetness with a bit of a vanilla flavor. It sounded strange to me at first but once I've eaten it then I had to finish the whole bag. The chip taste fresh and crunchy, the bags are very well packaged in their own box so the chips are very much whole and intact. I'm very surprised that I like this flavor so much, I'd highly recommend this.

I am personally not a vegan but wanted to try these. The initial taste is just not the best; it's super sweet and tastes like a packing peanut that is super starchy. The aftertase however is better; tastes like a cake somewhat. I feel like a different flavor would be better IMO. Birthday cake is just a bit weird. Overall, not for me, however vegans may enjoy it better than me as I am not used to vegan foods.

This flavor was a risk. Birthday Cake flavored pea-protein chips sound sorta gross. I was surprised at how good they actually taste. They smell like vanilla buttercream when you first open the bag. They are sweet but not overly sweet. The cake flavor fades as you chew it and you can taste the plain chip. It isn't bad, especially if you're used to pea protein snacks, it's just different. If you get a chip with a lot of flavor dust on it, it's absolutely amazing and you can't taste the pea protein at all. I ate the whole bag and felt satisfied and not too stuffed. I struggle with getting enough protein and this is a nice way to get protein and satisfy a sweet craving. I'd say they're worth a try. I'm not too sure if these are kid friendly because I think that they might be disappointed by the flavor.

These Endurance Protein Chips - Plant-Based Gluten Free Snacks - Pack of 12, Birthday Cake flavor, are light and crisp with an appealing texture. The Birthday Cake flavor is such an odd choice, but somehow it works. In our house, one family member loves them, another finds them strange and I think they're good but not my favorite flavor. They aren't sweet. We appreciate that they're vegan, gluten-free, and OU certified Kosher. They're high in protein but not too high in fat. Interesting product! Recommend!!
