Cool Gadget
Functional and practical...very well made, sturdy, and looks cool. Took me a few tries to get it to work, but that was user error and lack of knowledge and practice. Very good product and well made. A must have if you spend a lot of time outdoors.

Great backup fire source
Use this for hiking and camping, as emergency backup fire source. Easy to use, and reliable. I use standard lighter fluid instead of the 3rd world gasoline/ kerosene fuel recommended. Good to know I can use those fuels though... I have one in each of my backpacks. ( Snow pack, Skiing pack, Expedition Pack, Emergency pack ) Wouldn't recommend for zippo lighter substitute, as the flame produces a lot of soot. Great for lighting stoves, and camp fires.

plastic shortcuts damage reliability
item came with a faulty bottom screw and leaked fluid upon ignition, terrifying experience which I am sure is user error but it has put me off from the product in the future. I think a zippo and a line of hempwick offer more versatility than this but i can see the appeal if it properly works. more tests are needed before i can say im satisfied, but overall, disregarding the plastic screw the item seems well made.

Only worked once
Worked on first use. After that, plenty of spark, but the wick won't light. No instuction on how to replace wick or striker

Bought this thinking it would be great in case of an emergency to light a fire. Didn’t realize you needed lighter fluid for it. It takes numerous strikes to get it to light; if it does at all. A rizpo light is more reliable. Very disappointing as I ordered two.
