Well, this seemed like it would be the perfect hard case for my regular prescription glasses. I don't have to wear them, but at night, they help a lot when I'm driving. So I wanted to have the on my person, but not in a pocket (could get crushed) nor having to hold a case in my hands everywhere I went. So I put this case on my belt. It was working great until one time when I get into my car, the case snagged on the seat-belt connector and broke the belt loop. If the case had been leather (or even a faux leather), I have a feeling it would not have broke. At least it protected the glasses when they fell. UPDATE: I gave this seller another star for refunding my purchase, even though I did not ask them to do so. They communicated really well with me after the purchase and said they were refunding my purchase after reading my review.

This is well made with an easy magnetic closure. I brought as gift for my husband and he wears it on his belt and states he likes it. It also has a clip to wear on boot loop. The size is appropriately proportional for most glasses. Would buy again

I bought the eyeglass case June 2025 and six months later after using the case infrequently the belt loop has torn. Talk about a cheaply made product!!

Not soft, it isn't actually leather, after all. Not terribly thick or rigid, but probably adequate to protect my glasses. The biggest issue is with the closure. The magnet is not strong enough to use the case clipped to my belt loop and hanging. It is going to snag on something minor and open, and as there is no internal restraint, the glasses will be gone. I wouldn't even notice because it takes so little effort to open the flap. Additionally, the clip is not large enough to fit onto a standard belt loop. I will have to replace the clip with something larger as well as add some Velcro or more snaps to the flap if I want to hang it from anything. It works okay if I use the loop and mount it horizontally on my belt.

Sunglasses won’t fit in my tiny purse. Searched and found this case that has a wide belt loop on the back of it. Unhooked the crossbody purse strap and slid the case on. As long as the purse strap is removable to enable the glass case to slide on this works! The case is softly lined. Snap is magnetic. I removed the attached key chain—don’t need it. I’m happy!

I love that it's strong and hasn't lost its 'newness'. It is only a little over two weeks, but no scratch marks when it's accidentally dropped to the bottom of my workbag with other items on top. And the case's rich deep green colour hasn't faded.

I have ordered it twice (because I can’t find anything like it) and both times it has been broken. So if you order it don’t get your hopes up. First time it came and all the stitching was out and the second time the metal clip was broken.
