Expensive compared to the cheaper generic remotes but does the job and feels a much more quality item and is better finished.

Got exactly what I ordered, genuine article not a copy, works fine from day I received it and it was at the right price.

Absolutely no negatives at all with my relatively elderly but very acceptable quality large screen Sony Bravia TV. This was in sharp contrast to the proliferation of replacement TV handsets claiming "100% compatibility with all TVs", some of which I tried which yielded (in spite of their typical variety of things to try if "Sony" did not appear in their setup listings) a "100% incompatibility" instead. Similarly with all other popular TV handset replacements I've tried in the past. I suggest that anyone with a Sony TV (or any other TV for that matter), first makes an internet search for replacement handsets which specifically name at the very least their TV's manufacturer. While that basic criterion will be far from infallible, the odds of success will, I suspect increase substantially in the potential buyers favour!

My toddler kept biting my original remote and it stopped working so I had to buy this one. Everything is great. The physical appearance of the remote is slightly different but I don't mind. The only downside is, sometimes the microphone turns ON and shows on the screen without anyone pressing it while we are watching TV.

Official Sony remote , great quality and feel. A bit pricey compared to some of the knock off versions out there but I'm really happy with it.

It’s better than the original remote that came with the TV, with a nice base casing that feels more like metal instead of the plastic. Bought this as the buttons had worn through on the original remote, but this revised version has much more pronounced ones and feels much more solid. I guess time will tell! For now though, it’s perfect and doing it’s job well.

One day I had the old remote control and went to the kitchen, upon returning to the TV room it had vanished into thin air and weeks later it still hasn't materialised. I ordered this replacement for my Sony XE93 2017 TV and works out of the box, in order to access the voice control go into the settings, select voice remote control, select activate microphone button and now you have full voice control with Google Assistant. Highly recommended.

Six months ago I bought a new Sony 55 inch UHTV HDR which came with this remote. Within a couple of months this remote began to intermittently fail to change channels, fail to open up Youtube, fail to move around Youtube. Gradually the remote got worse. I decided to buy a second one in case the original one stopped working completely. The new remote was no better than the first, same faults, so I returned it to Amazon for a refund, which they did at once (great job Amazon). Now this remote is expensive, £52.36 and I think Sony should be ashamed of themselves selling this remote which does not work properly. The Sony TV is fantastic you'd think they could get their remote right, especially at that price!
