The Diary of Brad De Luca: Blindfolded Innocence #1.5 [Torre, Alessandra] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Diary of Brad De Luca: Blindfolded Innocence #1.5 Review: A great companion book to Blindfolded Innocence - This book I really liked. I read it after I read all three books, Blindfolded Innocence, Masked Innocence and End of Innocence. Brad De Luca was such a strong character in the book and to see some of the story from his take gave the story an even more authentic feel. I love books like this. I love reading about what motivated the character, how they changed as a result of the furthered discoveries as the story continued. This book was so well thought out and written that I'm hoping Alessandra writes two more of these books to accompany the other two books (fingers and toes crossed). Anyone who read the story and loved it, really need to read this one and the cost was such a value and I would've happily paid more. :--)) Review: Couldn't get enough Brad De Luca!!! - I'm a sucker for a male POV and I couldn't resist reading about my current male crush with Brad De Luca. I dropped one star because it was very short and I wish I would of had a bit more detail into his POV which is what I thought the novellette was about. *** Spoiler alert*** Julia (Brad's love interest) proclaims in the first book that she has never reached an orgasm and has never had a man go down on her. Not only is this a challenge for Brad but this is a big momentus part of the their sexual discovery and for me it fell a bit short. It is starting to become a pet peeve of mine that authors go into full detail of when the female lead performs a sexual act but when it is reversed it fades to black. I just think it was a bit of a lost opportunity to bring more steam to that scene and to really give you that POV. With that said though I am really enjoying this series, I think this is a must read along wtih the series. I am now a fan of Alessandra Torre. Can't wait to see what happens next with Brad & Julia.

OK read, but nothing new revealed
Rating: 3 Stars A short novella from Brad's point of view of meeting and wanting Julia. This included some retelling of the scenes in "Blindfolded Innocence". It was nice to be inside of Brad's head to understand his reactions to Julia. Why Not 5 Stars? There was not enough meat to this novella. I did not learn anything new from Brad's perspective. I would have enjoyed this if it covered everything he did during the post-Vegas time apart. Did he use sex as a distraction? If so, with who? What was he doing during that period of time? We only received reactions, but no details on what he did. To be honest, I don't think this book was needed. It did not add any additional value to the story. Just my two cents.

Hurry up with more De Luca!
This was great! But went by so quickly. I wish it was at least novella length. But it helped soothe my book hangover a bit for Brad De Luca! This story basically goes back reenacting what happened in "Blindfolded Innocence" but this time around from Brad's POV. Puts even more of a perspective on the situation knowing what he was thinking as this all unfolded. I just wish there wasn't such huge gaps waiting on the sequels to these amazing books because book #2 "Masked Innocence" won't be out till February 2014. Why does that feel as if its 5 years from now? lol But I'm sure it'll be amazing as well though. And I can't wait to find out what will happen next between Brad & Julia. 5 stars!

Fills in the blanks
First off, if you haven't read Blindfolded Innocence, you need to start there. I'm rating this a 4. I wished the author had clarified a few things somewhat more on detail, but I know from Brad's POV and maintaining some "mystery" about him why Ms Torre kept it short but sweet. Brads still an ass but I love that I got a point of view from his perspective. I'm excited to see under his shell and get an inkling of hope for some normalcy in his relationship with Julia. In blindfolded innocence you never know what's going on fully in his head, even though you see glimpses of what this book shows. Somewhere under Brads facade is a man looking for his happy ever after too. This allows the reader a nice in depth look at Brad during the majority of blindfolded innocence, it's a good fill in from a different POV leading the way to the end of Book #1.

9 perfect inches... I mean stars, yeah stars.
This was a short novella that focused on parts of Blindfolded Innocence, but given to us in Brad's point of view. From the moments he met Julia, fought his attraction both with his need to claim her body and a unfamiliar feeling of just wanting her near. It was fantastically written, but understand that it is not a fluid novella, it leaps from scene to scene following along from the moment the interns were assigned until she leaves his house after the fight. This provided a bit of depth to Brad's character that was not clearly displayed in BI. We see a little bit of vulnerability in the battle between what his heart and body wants. He knows that he can't deny himself the wants of part of who he is, but unable to stop the longing for something that holds much more value than just a night of sexual pleasure. Between the ending scenes in BI and the insight into Brad that was gained by reading this; I am hoping that we'll see a softer side to him in the second book. He's sexual, we know that and I love that; but I am craving watching this man go a little sweet

Worth checking out!
It was nice to hear from his point of view but I do wish it would have gone on a bit more so that we would have gotten his thoughts about some of the things that happened later in the series. I also feel like it left some of his views out about things that maybe would have been interesting. But overall if you read the other books in the series this one is worth checking out.

2.5 out of 5 Stars for this glimpse of Brad de Luca
*** Do not read this before having read Blindfolded Innocence, Book 1 of the series! *** Brad De Luca is a 34 year-old very successful divorce attorney, handsome, sexy and charming. But he is also a notorious manwh... with a thriving sexuality. Brad has always wanted to settle down, but failing to find someone to accept his sexual energy and penchant on the long-run, he has long lost the hope in any long-term relationship. And now, for some reason, he wants to conquer Julia Campbell, the innocent intern that had never been brought to orgasm before and please her - but will Julia be enough to satisfy his needs? "Brad de Luca didn't get rejected. Especially not by a twenty-something intern who had probably never been properly f...ed in her life." "She was innocent, inexperienced, yet bruned with fire, curiosity, and challenge. His body was ready for the task, pushing against the starting gate, wanting to f... her senseless and brand her forever as his own." The Diary Of Brad de Luca gives you more insights on Brad's transformation from manwh... to p...whipped lover. I was actually looking forward to reading Blindfolded Innocence from Brad's point of view, but that's exactly what this book was: nothing but a recounting of Blindfolded Innocence. I unfortunately don't feel like I learned much more about Brad, which is why to me, this short story (which averages a 30 minute read) is not necessarily a "Must Read". Also, note that I am writing this review after having read the full series up until the end, so don't get hung up on the rating I gave this short-story. Part 2 and 3 of the Innocence Series totally make up for it!
