The slot positions of the otoscope designed by each manufacturer are different, so we are unable to provide you with a standard answer or suggestion. In order to solve the value customers who have similar problems with you, we will provide disposable speculum tips on our store later.

How do you open the case it comes in?

Just push in and lift. Not the side with the hinges, the other side. It may take a little effort.

How well does the 3x magnification actually work?

I don’t think it worked well at all. I looked in my daughter’s ear and my husband’s ear, and both were just a fuzzy blur. I ended up just shelling out $$$ for a real otoscope from an audiology supply company. Not cheap but it actually works.

Budget option with Premium feel

I really liked the product! It has got premium feel to it. Works fine. You can't differentiate it with those 7k otoscopes. Budget option that works. Will definitely report about life of the led. I am only sceptical about led life.
