Not too bad. I like being able to adjust the size of the hole along with the size of the punch. Some thicker materials responded better when a made the hole one step larger. I also like the ability to set the depth for consistent hole position. There is a screw to loosen to be able to rotate the punch. Basically it limits how wide the punch opens. Let it go wide enough and punch dies rotate. I do find that screw a bit fiddley and takes a lot of turns. Your mileage may vary and the more I use it and have to adjust it, maybe I'll be able to find the right spot and make it only a few turns each direction. Also the depth guide needs to be tightened with a screwdriver to make it secure. Fingertip tightness isn't quite enough. However the screw is kinda soft, so be sure to find a screwdriver with a tip that goes into it securely. Past that, I do like it and for my occasional needs, this works better than the other handheld hole punches I've used. BT recommended

This punch did nit produce clean holes out of the box and needed sharpening when recieved. The hole sizes were accurate and now works on thinner leather. But remains a challenge on toolable leather. The entire tool is made of metal and changes to hole size is easy by rotating the punch turret and then aligning the proper die hole that matches the desired punch. The quality of the construction and machining of the moving parts is very good producing a smooth action when punching holes.

Really like this punch much better than the old style. Instead of having to twist and pull the leather, its a one shot deal since it punches thru into the hole in the base. It is also very nice to have the depth setting device. That helps in keeping the holes all the same depth from edge easier. My 1st use was with 10oz leather which is a bit over 1/8 inch thick, so a bit tough to get thru, but again, much easier overall and quicker due to the style and sharpness of the punch. Worked VERY well for the 380 holes had to punch. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend!

I do my own watch repairs. This has come in handy when working with leather and the plastic bands. Love how easy and accurate it is. Aligns well and also not hard on the hands.

I bought them for my belts, it's hard for me to find my size, it's made of an excellent material and it's very resistant

My first device fell apart as I was trying to adjust the hole size, but I was able to return it and get a new one. It is tricky to change the size, and the included directions are hard to follow, but this device works. Have punched tiny holes in the straps of ladies' dance shoes, and larger holes in leather belts and leather men's sandals.

Great quality! We use it on biothane to make dog collars and leads and it has worked well and held up well!
