**Q: Can this post box be fitted to railings as one of the pics suggests??**
A: Yes it can . The 4 corner holes need to a braced top & bottom to go around the rail and join on the other side . Hope this helps

**Q: Is this postbox worth £84? Iv heard it is flimsy material, you can put your hand in the aperture to steal the post and it also lets water in??**
A: Well, yes you can put your hand in and get at least some of the post out, but I wanted a big enough aperture that newspapers and small parcels could fit in. It doesn't really bother me anyway where we live and saves me having to go in the house to fetch the key (!) but if you need high security it's prob not the one for you. Have to say the previous post box I had (a different make and style) was the same though! It's cast aluminium not cast iron so it's light weight but again that doesn't worry me at all, it's still well made and solid it just doesn't weigh a tonne. It's powder coated in the same way so looks smart. The letting water in was the big thing for me as that's why I had to change the last post box I bought. So far I've been very relieved as we've had a few down pours and no water at all has got in so fingers crossed on that one. The question regarding value for money is quite subjective I suppose but I thought it was a fair price for what it is. The one I had previously was quite a lot more expensive, cast iron (so very, very sturdy) but let water in like a sieve!! Hope that helps you.

A: hello . no we do not. the box comes with 2 keys as standard. if you require extra keys you can get them cut at your local locksmith. they can also replace the lock barrel and give you keys for that also . thanks for the question

**Q: I have this product and when it is heavy rain water gets inside and soaks the post. I need a way to cover this mailbox so the Post can still be put in**
A: Mine has always let the rain in too unfortunately. A bathroom sealant is a good idea to make it more waterproof 👍

I liked the appearance and functionality of the letterbox. It was easy to fix to the wall and has been adequate for all the mail I receive including magazines and small parcels. Nice product.

The top and door are cast aluminium, but the rest fairly thin steel.The flap can be left up, allowing the rain in if it's exposed.The leaflet that comes with it recommends that you paint it every year, so I guess it's going to rust or flake or something over time. This is mentioned in the product description though.EDIT: Here we are 1 year later and it's looking as good as new, no rust or paint flakes, this one is under cover so does not get rained on directly. Checked and opened daily.

Have had the product up now for about 4 months. Looks great but very disappointed in quality. Post frequently damp. Key lock very stiff - you have to work the key into the lock. Would not recommend it
