This is a high quality grip replacement that is for sure an upgrade over the original grip. It smells like leather but I am not sure what it is made from. Others have mentioned it gets dirty because it is white. I typically use white overgrips and I wash them if they are not expired. I am assuming that if this grip is not made from leather then the soil can be washed and the grips life can go on with the assistance of a blow dry. If it is real leather (I doubt it) then there are many shoe cleaning products to bring the white newness back. One other note, I found my hand is too small to put an overgrip on top of the Joola sure grip because then the circumference is too great. I am highly impressed by the quality here and would recommend it to others.

I recently picked up pickleball and quickly realized the importance of a good grip. My hands tend to get sweaty, so I decided to give this grip tape a try. The bubbly texture definitely provides a nice, cushioned feel, which I personally like. However, I had a little trouble figuring out how to wrap it around my paddle handle. There are no instructions and had to look up youtube videos to guide me. I'm not sure if I lined it up correctly, and it felt a tad short – maybe an extra inch of tape would have made the installation process easier. One thing I've noticed after a few weeks of play is that the white grip starts to look dirty. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it stayed cleaner for longer.

If you own a JOOLA pickleball paddle you know. The grip is a beautiful white out of the box and looks great… FOR ONE DAY. After a session on the court they quickly turn brown and the dirt shows. Thankfully, these grips are available and they are an absolute must if you play with your JOOLA paddles often. Super easy to put on with included instructions and seem to last just as long as the original grip. For those worried about difference of feel compared to the original, in my experience they are the exact same grips found on the out of the box paddles. They’re ribbed with moisture perforations and are of course, white. I think they’re fairly priced and even better if you can catch a sale. Not sure if they’re applicable to any other brands of paddles but for JOOLA I’d stock up, and switch out your grips at least once every couple of months to maintain the performance and aesthetics of your paddles.

I re-gripped my wife’s hyperion. It originally had the raised rib grip but she thought she would prefer the feel-tec smooth grip instead. She played with it for the first time today and said it was great. Easy to remove the old one and install the new one. Get the bias cut right to start at the end of the handle and wrap while removing the cellophane cover on the sticky underside. Trim off any excess. The finish tape is included.

Quality pickleball grip easy to fit.

I really like these for what they are. They're pricey at full price, but they'll sometimes go on sale and are worth it then. I use these as a base grip when the grip on a paddle is either a style I don't like (like a wave-style grip with ridges), or a thickness I don't like (super thin or super bulky). These Joola grips are low-to-medium thickness, so they provide just the right amount of thickness and cushion without having to wrap them super tightly. The cushion feels a bit denser, but with a nice springiness. They also sit very flat when wrapped correctly. They're also a little bit tacky when first applied, so if you're someone who only like to use a grip without an overgrip, these could be an option for you. The one negative I'd say is that the adhesive used on them is stronger than the foam in the cushion. When taking them off to either reposition them or re-use on another paddle, the foam can get torn and it's very hard to reapply. As long as you're careful, this shouldn't happen, but it's something to keep in mind. Also, if you're looking to heavily build up your paddle's grip, these aren't the best option due to being on the more low-to-midweight side.
