My Duro-Med cushion keeps slipping off the wheelchair. Any solutions folks?

Just go to Home Depot or Menard's, any home improvement store, and buy a roll of non-slip shelf liner and cut it to fit. It looks like a woven material. I use that stuff for so many things. Cut a section of it to use in Kitchen as a jar opener. Put under plates to stop them from sliding, wrap around tools and tape them closed to keep yard and household tools from sliding. All kinds of uses. I do use it for seat cushions.

Does this cushion come in black?

Thank you for your question. This particular model is only available in Blue. We looked at the MFG website for a similar size/style in Black but were unable to locate one. We did however find some results by searching using these key words '16 x 18 black seat cushion'. Looks like there are several models that may suit your needs. Keep in mind and make sure to look at the product description as they may be various materials; high density foam, gel, memory foam or a blend of two of those.

wouild this work hip and knee pain

Thank you for your question. Typically most wheelchair cushions are designed to provide comfort and support for the patient. In theory correcting the way the patient sits and providing the right support, should alleviate hip and knee pain. If the pain continues it could be a symptom of something more. Could warrant a check up with your doctor.

Do you have foot/leg rests for sail ?

I don’t actually use the cushion for a wheelchair though that’s what it’s for. So I don’t actually have any wheelchair parts as I do not have a wheelchair to my name. I wish you God’s speed to find what you’re looking for.
