Ordered a few times. Normally perfect comes in a box. But came in paper packaging which led to damaged corners. An issue with the Amazon package not the item itself. The pad itself is perfect for quick sketch’s while not spending extortionate amounts.

I've been wanting to get back into sketching for a while, haven't touched a pencil and paper in about 15 years so I was looking for some low-barrier-of-entry supplies and this is the nail on the head as a 'first' sketch pad. It's a relatively untextured paper toward the smooth end of the scale, a brilliant white and weighty enough to not immediately show pressed-through linework from pencils or immediate bleed through some off-brand alcohol based markers (although it soaks in too fast to allow proper marker blending). Good all rounder for draughting considering the sub <£3 cost.

The quality of the paper is rather good, as we got this for my niece for her art class at school, it was perfect for what she needed, and the pages are nice and thick so the paint or ink won’t go through to the other pages. This is the second sketchbook we have purchased for her and the quality has been good on both occasions. This particular size suits her needs and enables her to present work well. We shall be buying a new one for the next academic year.

I am doing a 'beginner' art class and bought this for lessons using charcoal and paint. Although you have to primer it for paint work it seems to be doing a good job for me for what I need. Happy and would buy again!
