Easy to install
Great looking and easy to install . Worked out well for me on my back step so I got another for my front . Slightly wiggly but sturdy enough for what I needed .

Good quality, sturdy construction.
Easy to put together and install (an electric or cordless drill with a hammer function is recommended if installing on concrete). Our original wrought iron railings from the 70's had fallen off years ago, and we were concerned about liability if someone falls while climbing our stairs (this was around Halloween) - as I had installed similar railings for some of my customers, purchasing this was an easy decision.

Looks nice, fairly priced.
For the price it does the job. I don’t see it lasting for 20 years but it looks nice and fits my current needs.

Well made heavy duty excellent Price
Excellent product this review is for the 1 to 2 steps and you get more than what you paid for. Shipped fast, in factory packaging. No damage. Comes with concrete and wood hardware to attach to steps. I read the reviews, don’t see any that relate to these about the spindle rattle since the spindles are only 2 and very minor. Assembly help: You’ll need a magnifier to read some of the instructions but they are clear to follow lol. Just lay the parts down as shown on carpet so not to scuff the “finish” (which is the weakest thing about the item) to dry fit assembly. Make sure the thread of the nut and bolts face out, not inwards for aesthetic purposes. Remember to remove bottom plastic filler and put the baseplate cover on so it will slide down, then replace filler and screw the two attachment on. If you don’t you will have to disassemble the whole thing to put the cover cap on. Now when it’s assembled, raise and temporally tape the cap up, set railing in it place and mark the 4 holes and drill concrete or wood with correct drill bit size. And don’t drill deeper than needed with the correct mounting nuts and bolts for your wood or concrete steps. Have fun, it’s a fun project for a beginner few tools needed, 2 - 9/16 socket or open end wrench and a #1 screwdriver. Also drill bits for the mounting concrete or wood. I for simplistic purposes I use Tapcon blues, they are faster than the concrete fasteners that come with it.

Looks great but there are concerns!
Product came quickly and packaged well. The included concrete anchors were very tedious to install. I used a 3/8 masonry bit and a hammer drill. Once I got them installed tightening them was a task to say the least because the wrench provided just flips off so I used a 14mm open ended wrench because a socket or box end won’t fit because the clearance to the post is so tight. The main issue for me on these handrails is the loose balusters. No way to keep them from rattling in the wind or when someone just touches the install rail to use. Client wants me to put some caulk in each hole to take away the slack. 🤷♂️

Good looking
Product was fine good looking sturdy easy to install. The one problem I had was I ordered two the handyman couldn’t install the second one and the company did not want to take that one back so make sure you know how many you need so you don’t get stuck other than that very good product.

Nice and Sturdy!
These came out better than expected. I recently built new steps to all my backdoors and the old ones didn't have any. The old steps were 3 (I'm assuming to get out of code for needing rails) and I built 4 steps.

An inexpensive railing but you'll need to go to the hardware store
This railing is simple to assemble and is inexpensive. If your goal is to provide a safety feature that will last a few years, this is it. During installation, I found a few problem areas: (1) There are two small screws that hold the plastic inserts into the upper and lower vertical posts. These screws are not sized properly and do not tighten. By yourself four #8 x 1/2" stainless screws to replace them. (2) I agree with a previous reviewer that the concrete anchors that are included are not usable. They are 10 mm and require a 10mm masonry drill bit which is not included. You will not find a 10mm bit at Home Depot or Lowes. I purchased sixteen 3/8" x 2-1/4" concrete sleeve anchors as replacements and used my 3/8" masonry bit. (3) If you are attaching to wood, the installation will be easier. However, if concrete is your base, I suggest making a drilling template. Despite measuring thrice and marking the hole locations, the masonry bit will wander and if it is off by more than 1/8", you are screwed. There is little tolerance for error. I ended up test fitting the railing after each hole drilled and sure enough, my original marks were no good. (4) Unlike the description, this is NOT cast iron. It is thin sheet metal painted black. It scratches easily and you will probably scratch it during installation. I had to touch it up with a can of black spray paint after installation. (5) The balusters are not a tight fit and rattle. It remains to be seen if they will rattle in the wind. Overall, this is an inexpensive solution to a safety railing need. Were money no object, I would opt for actual cast iron.

Like the look of the rails. Got the rail together, but when my son went to put the bolts into the cement they were the wrong size so we had to go buy different ones.
