I purchased this product coming from a black and white eink tablet. I chose to change to this one because I enjoy graphic novels and webtoons, and would just as soon have one catch all device for all of my reading media. When I did my original research I wasn't aware of the existence of color eink screens. While I do not regret my original purchase, if you are looking for an easy to set up color eink tablet with Google Play right out of the box, this is a good option! I wanted a tablet that would be simple to set up and under $400. I initially struggled with the user interface, as it come with "office style" as it's "home screen style" default, however, once I switched to "tablet style" in the settings things were much mire streamlined and simplistic. In my opinion, as someone who has used no other color e-ink, the color quality seems good. As long as you have reasonable expectations (i.e. as long as you don't expect LED levels of color saturation from an eink screen) you will not be disappointed in this device. The images attached to this review are in regular overhead lighting without front light. The device seems to have good build quality. It feels very sturdy where other devices have had a more cheap plastic feel. The case that comes with the tablet has sleep/wake and buttons for one-hand page turning. I actually contacted customer service, as I was struggling to get the page turn buttons to work with my preferred reading apps. They emailed me back within an hour and were helpful. I was impressed by this, as I'm used to long waiting times for tech support, especially by email. Being able to get assistance immediately increased my confidence in the company and product. If I could make one change, I wish the tablet case were just the slightest bit more heavy duty. The front of the case has more flex than I prefer, as I tend to feel more secure with something thicker over the screen. I'm not taking a star off for this, because it's just my preference and I don't think it is reflective of the quality of the product.

The color eInk display is very responsive and the colors are great. The fact that this has Android 11 makes it even more useful. My primary purpose was to use it as an eReader, but the ability to surf the Web on this device has made it so much more useful. I never thought that I would be using the note taking features, but I found myself using the note taking features daily as I attended training. If you're considering buying this, I consider it worth the price.

I enjoyed the Bigme for 3 months, then it wound not go beyond startup page. I tried multiple ways to reboot, but each time it return to same startup page. Minimal support online, so I just returned it.
