Large American Bison Buffalo Horns

These buffalo (American bison) horns are probably not what you want to give out as dog chews/treats, but they most certainly are top notch for making powder horns for the "mountain man era". Mine is a good size for a practical hunting size horn. Not too big, nor too small. Have found no splits, voids, cracks, or discolorations in the horn, so it's going to polish up a perfect and shiny black. Price is much less than you'll find from most purveyors. Color me happy.

Worked great for my project so I ordered a second horn it was horrible so rough I'm not sure what I will be able to do with it won't be able to make a muzzleloader powder horn that's for sure

Needed a good hat rack. Easily polished and very attractive finish. Nice antique rustic feel when completed

We use then to pour water and drink out of then in the sweat lodge

Look - my puppy loved this more than everything else - BUT - it SMELLS!!!! Oh, God help you - it stinks up wherever it is. It’s like A Soprano state. Also - it shreds or sheds. Messy. So messy. Again - my dog LOVED IT. Pick your poison.
